I need everyone to be aware of the fact that Chris Pine is taller than Regé-Jean Page, because this means that Edgin is taller than Xenk and that is extremely important to me because you know Edgin would make a huge deal out of it.

Xenk being taken into the group and slowly coming out of his shell is both beautiful and tragic. Just his seemingly constant optimism and confidence slipping away to show what’s beneath his armor, and the fact that he’s soft and alive becomes very real.

He’s kind but never gets too close, fearing that he’ll lose another home, another family.

He’s strong on the outside but clawing at the darkness inside to keep it at bay.

He stands tall but when he sees the mark on his forehead, he wonders if he should be felled as a monster ought to be.

They see what’s underneath Xenk’s shell and they don’t know what to do. They see that he’s human, and that’s the one thing he’s scared of.

How can they fight something not even Xenk can face? But the duality stands in this: how could they ever leave him to that beast?

He’s apart of that family, and they fight for each other. They always will.

You already know that Edgin is constantly complaining about how he has gray hairs but Xenk, who had been alive way longer than any of them, doesn’t look a day over twenty-five.

You might not be familiar with enneagram, but I need you to join us in the fight to show people Xenk is an 8w9. people see a character that fights for Good and Justice and shoehorn him into being a 1 while ignoring WHY he's doing it and if we all could just accept the nuance that it adds to read him as an 8, we'd have such a better understanding of his character- like pls. he's the healthiest 8 I've ever seen and they can pry him from my cold dead hands.

Ill bet xenk is just as hard to kill as the thayan assassins from the movie, so he travels alone so he can fight as reckless as he wants against random monsters without endangering anyone else directly

Its also probably why he knows the underdark so well, it cant kill him. He looks all wise and compotent but thats backed by decades of Jackass tm behavior, just wild stunts that would get regular people killed

That may as well be canon. I love it when the straight-laced character is chaotic.

I feel like we were robbed of Xenk’s batshit crazy potential. Every character that’s calm and put together has a wild side that commits arson or some shit in the name of good. I like it when they go feral.

Imagine Xenk, not knowing quite what to do with this new family, but still trying.

Imagine Xenk, who is bound to death, finally feeling alive again.

Imagine Xenk getting overwhelmed be it at times, but coming to realize that he doesn’t have to hide until it passes, because these people are willing to accept that he’s not a perfect.

Imagine Xenk finding a family and someone to love, and finally seeing that he’s not alone.
