So I just thought about something while watching Encanto for the 4th time.
So if the Madrigals receive their doors when they're five years old...
Then do the images on the door change as the children grow? Or are they immediately looking like how they will in the future?
Judging by Antonio's door looking like him currently, then it may change as they grow. Though it's still a bit confusing to me.
Then, do Felix and Agustin share the room with their wives or are there special rooms for spouses?

Oh I love that.
Also like "lost" items that the familia had.
We all lose the lost random things, so I'm sure they do too.
Like maybe if Luisa had an old doll she lost, it would somehow end up in the kid's room.
Now I wanna write more about them!!! 😭😭
Thank you for that idea!!
If Bruno had a child
So, I just had a sudden idea while watching Encanto for the third time, that maybe an idea for a fanfic I write soon.
What if Bruno’s child has the gift of bringing images of the past back to life?
So like, those who have lost a loved one can relive a moment they had.
Bruno and his s/o could be sitting and spending time with their child, when suddenly the child goes completely silent. Of course Bruno and y/n would be worried until the child’s eyes begin to glow a dark forest green.
Suddenly around them, the surroundings seem to shift like a vision. Bruno and his s/o can see an image of their younger selves meeting for the first time.
It was as if they were reliving that moment.
The child has a little bit of difficulty controlling when their visions occur, but once they can, they begin to offer visions to those in town.
Want to see a lost pet, friend, or family member? Have a vision.
Perhaps over time, the child will be able to pick up an old piece of rubble and be able to see it’s history, even if it’s brief.
I think this may be an interesting idea. Just let me know what you think!

“I’m Glad You Came” Bruno Madrigal x Reader
Hello everyone, I’m Redflame and I don’t write often. Hopefully, if everyone enjoys this, I may write more.
The sun goes down
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
The universe will never be the same
I’m glad you came
The reader has an illness, but you meet Bruno. The two of you slowly fall in love before you run out of time.
The sun goes down.
The beautiful and magical town of Encanto captivated you. No matter the time of day, the sky was always such beautiful colors. Watching everything go from a beautiful red and orange, to a soft navy blue and purple was what made you love to be there.
Then, of course, there was the Madrigal family. They were an absolute mystery, in their own way of course. If only miracles like that could happen to everyone.
The family was like a ray of sunlight. They brightened the lives of those around them. They were almost perfect. They helped everyone around them with a smile on their face. Even the two youngest children of the family, Camilo and Mirabel were so energetic, though Camilo was a bit of a trouble maker. The family was perfect.
Though, there was one person in that family who seemed so much more different, even down to the shade of color they wore.  Bruno Madrigal.
It was rare to see his face because of the hood of his poncho. You often heard people whispering whenever he is around. They say that he brought about misfortune where ever he went. His gift was the cause of that. Apparently he could get visions of the future, and they were often quite... unfortunate.
One of the common instances you have heard was what happened at his sister’s, Pepa’s, wedding. Apparently the sky was clear, the air warm. Then, he said that it was going to rain. That rain turned into a hurricane, which ruined the wedding. Though, at least Pepa and her husband, Felix, took it all in stride and are happily married with two children, Dolores and Camilo.
But, even after hearing numerous stories like this, Bruno was still quite intriguing. He would go into town about once a week to go to the market and give out fortunes. He always kept his hood up, keeping his face hidden, though sometimes, if you watch when he gives a fortune, his eyes turn green. It was such a beautiful shade.
Though, as the stars come out, you found myself heading into the forest to walk. As amazing as the town was, you needed a break from it. During your first week here, you discovered a rather beautiful clearing and lake deep in the forest. It just felt... so important to you. Like, maybe, you have a say in how your life will be, and that you will have a chance to enjoy it.
Soon, you settled down by the water, softly running down the bank. The only other sound were insects and nocturnal animals. The only light came from the stars and the moon shining high and bright.
Shhhh... Shhh... Shhhh. SNAP
You jerked up at the sound of something lingering quite near. Who else would be out at this time. Slowly, you stood up, grabbing a rock from nearby to defend yourself.
“Who are you and what do you want?” The steadiness in your voice honestly surprised you. Your hands were starting to shake a bit, the only sign of your fear.
After a moment of silence, you hear a soft “I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you. I didn’t know you’d be here...”
You did not recognize the voice, but honestly it sounded quite lovely. A soft tenor voice that seemed to make the stars and moon shine brighter. Though, everything around you seemed to grow silent when you saw the faceless voice step out from behind the line of trees.
He wasn’t that tall, perhaps about 5′6 or 5′7. Though as soon as you saw that green poncho, you knew who it was. Your eyes skimmed up to finally see the face of the man you have heard so much about. Large hazel, with more brown than green, eyes met yours. Curly long hair framed his thin face. Though he looked tired, he still looked so...
“I’m sorry!” his voice interrupted your thoughts, making you blink with surprise. Why was he apologizing? You dropped the rock you held since you didn’t need it.
“For what?”
“I know that you don’t want me here. You probably heard what e-everyone has said about me, and you probably think I’m just a bad omen. I-I’ll leave you alone..” he quickly turned to leave.
“What? No! I don’t think that. I was just... surprised.” Your words stopped him. He turned to look back at you, eyes a bit wide with surprise.
“Surprised about what?”
“Well... I don’t know. You’re just...” so god damn handsome. “Different from what I expected.”
Bruno blinked, confusion sliding over his face. “What do you mean?”
You shook your head with a smile. “It’s nothing. Do you want to sit with me?”
Bruno tensed up a bit. He didn’t expect that. Someone wanted him to sit with them? Especially someone as... amazing as you? This had to be a joke of some kind. You were probably going to laugh at him and tell everyone about how gullible he is, or start screaming to everyone that he tried to hurt you.
“I’m Y/n by the way.” Your voice broke into his thoughts. There was such a sweet smile on your face as you sat back down next to the river.
Bruno relaxed a little. “I’m Bruno,” he smiled softly as he finally settled down next to you.
Both you and Bruno chatted until the moon began to disappear and the sky began to lighten. It felt like the two of you have known each other forever. You began to see a totally new side of Bruno. When he seemed all creepy to everyone, you saw him as nervous but absolutely sweet and hilarious when you got to know him.
A feeling began to grow in both you and his chests. A feeling neither of you have felt before.
And all that counts, is here and now.
This was not the last time you came here with Bruno Madrigal. The two of you met by the river almost every night to talk. As much as you wanted to be around him any other time, he refused since he did not want you to be shunned for being around him.
Almost six months later, Bruno began to act differently. He did not come to the river as often. He did not look at you. It was almost as if he didn’t know you. The moon and stars seemed dull.
The once amazing and confusing feeling you felt in your chest began to become painful and overbearing. Though, that was not the only change. You felt yourself becoming weaker and getting sick more often. One of the Madrigals, Julieta, Bruno’s sister who claims that he sent her to check on you, would bring you food to hopefully make you feel better. Though, it did not help.
One day, while you were walking through town, you saw a familiar green figure. You did the one thing you could think of, go after him.
“Bruno!” you called after him, running up to him.
He froze up for a moment but did not move. He knew that you would not give up. He did not say a word as you caught up with him. He stared at the ground in silence.
“Bruno. Why have you been ignoring me?” the hurt in your voice made his chest and throat feel even tighter. Though, he remained silent. He couldn’t bear to tell you.
“Bruno... please. Tell me what’s wrong,” your voice grew quieter. Tears pricked at your eyes. All you wanted was for him to talk to you again. Like how you used to. You two had been friends for over five months, but he suddenly stopped talking. It was like he suddenly hated you.
“I... I cannot tell you, y/n. I’m so sorry...” Bruno finally spoke, continuing to stare at the ground. When you looked closely, you could see tears in his eyes from under the hood of the poncho.
“I... I miss you, Bruno. If you had some kind of vision, please. I won’t hate you, I just want to talk to you.”
Bruno paused and looked at you, finally. “How did you...”
“I can guess Bruno. I know how you are. Did...” you felt your voice starting to tighten up. “Did you have a vision about me?”
He was silent for a moment before he slipped his hand into yours. “Come, I’ll show you...” he sounded defeated but he guided you to the casita.
The whole walk was silent and somber, it felt more like a walk to a funeral than anything. Though, you had a feeling you knew of what he saw. How could you have not?
As the two of you approached the casita, you could see everyone doing their own chores. When you walked in, two kids ran around the house, laughing.
Bruno led you to his door and let you in. You looked around, eyes widening at the big ass staircase leading up. “Are you kidding me?”
Little Camilo grinned at Mirabel. “Your it!” he ran, more like waddled honestly, up the stairs while Mirabel tried to catch up to him.
As cute as the whole display was, you just couldn’t feel the usual joy and happiness that you would any other day.
“No! I’ll go up and get it, stay here.” Bruno quickly let your hand go and began to run upstairs. Your hand felt rather cold without his warmth.
You would have followed him up, but your body just did not want to. You felt weak, so you sat down on a step and waited, watching him go up. After probably 10 minutes, he finally reappeared next to you with a jade tablet in his hands.
His hands were shaking quite a bit and he looked away from you. “I... I got this vision... And no matter how many times I saw it, it never changed.”
You looked down at the cold feeling slate in your hands and felt your heart sink when you saw the image on it.
You were laying in the grass, eyes shut and completely still, with Bruno next to you, crying. Above you, there was a starry image of a person who looked just like you near the moon along with other constellations. An image of your death.
“I-I’m sorry Y/n...” you heard a sniffle from next to you. When you looked up from the tablet, you saw tears running down the man’s face. “I-I didn’t want to show you b-because I know you’d hate me, b-but I-I didn’t want to lose you. A-and e-either way I’ll lose you a-and I don’t know what to do.”
Despite the feeling you had when you saw the vision on the tablet, the image of him crying was even more heart breaking. You gently wrapped your arms around him, holding him close.
“It’s okay Bruno... I knew I would end up like this anyways.” Your voice was quiet as you nuzzled into his shoulder. Though you felt him stiffen up a bit.
“Y-you knew about this?”
“Yes... I’ve been sick for a very long time. I knew that I wasn’t going to live for too much longer... but I kind of hoped that some miracle would happen,” a slight laugh left your lips. Though the laugh sounded a bit more like a soft sob. You were trying everything in your power not to cry.
The man softly pulled you closer, not saying anything else. He was surprised that you did not hate him, though of course he didn’t fully believe that. Though, he knew that you were hurting more than he was, so he didn’t want to turn this onto him.
“I-I don’t want to lose you, y/n,” he said once again. “You’re my universe...” he said softly. “Mi Estrella.”
Finally you broke. Sobbing into his shoulder, tried to hold him as close as you could. “te quiero, Bruno...” you managed to choke out.
Bruno let out a shaky breath and gently ran his hand along your head. “I love you too, y/n.”
My universe will never be the same.
Although death was inevitable for you, you found the next few months to be the best of your life. You and Bruno grew closer, and by the two of you growing closer, you also became close with the rest of his family.
Every morning you would go over to hang out. Whenever Bruno was in his vision cave, you would talk to Julieta or Pepa. Sometimes you would even play with the two youngest, Mirabel and Camilo, though Camilo had recently received his gift, which was a hassle because he could turn into literally whoever he wanted to.
Then at night, you and Bruno would go by the river and talk or sit in silence under the stars. Every day you felt yourself becoming weaker and weaker, to the point that Bruno had to carry you home to stay in his room since you did not want to be alone and could not get yourself home anymore.
Now, you lay in his bed. You felt tired. You didn’t feel like yourself. Bruno knew this.
“Mi amore...” you said softly, gently grabbing his hand softly. Bruno frowned and looked down at you, his eyes wide with worry.
“Can... can we go to the river tonight?” you asked softly, giving him a weak smile. When he opened his mouth to argue, you shushed him. “Please, I’ll be okay. I just... I just want to see the stars tonight. There’s going to be a full moon and I don’t want to miss it.”
Bruno hesitantly nodded. Then, later on that night, he picked you up, walked down the hundreds of steps of his room, out of the house, and into the forest. The soft bubbling of the water grew louder as the two of you approached. The crickets chirping and the sounds of nocturnal animals moving about.
Bruno sat down next to the river, laying you on the grass with your head on his lap. You looked up at the sky, and sure enough, the full moon was shining brightly, just like the day you met.
You smiled up at him and the two of you started talking about little things. Though, he found that you were quieter than usual, leaving him to do more of the talking.
Though, you interrupted his rambling with three words. “I’m glad you came.”
Then, after that, you said nothing more. He looked down at you and his eyes widened when he realized you would no longer speak.
“M-mi amore?” he gently shook your arm. “Y-y/n!” his voice grew louder. Though, you did not reply. “Y/n, please!” tears ran down his face.
He pulled you closer to his chest, sobbing. “Y/n, please...” his voice trailed off as he buried his face in your neck, your body was beginning to become cold.
Though, the most peculiar thing happened. The moon light began to make the river glow. He looked down at the water and then up, new stars began to glow brighter and brighter, and he could swear, the constellation they made looked just like you. You were smiling and sitting, looking down at him.
More tears ran down his face, but he smiled the smallest bit and kissed your head, staring up at the stars.
“I’m glad you came.”

I personally think he practices his dialogue. I can see him looking in a mirror like "Hello bitch... No to casual. What's up BIIITTTTCCCCHHH?! No... That's shit. Who's a little bitch? Okay, not bad-" and he just does this for hours and hours on end.
I seriously wonder what Freddy Krueger does all day when people aren’t sleeping. Can he watch them? Does he entertain himself? what he up to

I have a story idea.
So basically, the story slowly falls in love with the reader and always talks to the reader.
The character tells jokes and opens up to the reader, revealing their love. Though as the story goes on, it starts getting sadder because the character starts realizing that soon the book will end.
The character starts begging the reader to not close the book and to stay with them, but eventually comes to accept it.
The final words will be like "I'm glad we had this time together. I love you and I hope to see you again."
