Honestly, I'm just done handling this case. I've had enough of it. For my fellow Milolissa shippers, though - if we want to take encouragement from recent events, we can take a look at the Harry Potter fandom. A decade back, author J.K. Rowling regretted her choice of shipping Ron with Hermoine and reversed course, shipping Hermoine with Harry instead (a ship I could never get behind, by the way). Maybe a similar reversal of course happens with Milo years down the line, but I have serious doubts about that as literature is much easier to retcon than an animated series (though try telling that to Fairly OddParents).

I still think it was rigged...someone must've rigged it against the Milolissa shippers. In reality, though...I'm not entirely sure. Investigation's at a standstill.

Apparently it was with Disney TVA dating back to around 1997. Also kinda was with Nickelodeon too with shows like Danny Phantom and Hey Arnold...

Not cliche...more like Disney's MO like it had been for years dating back to another fave of mine - Recess. Recess was literally pushing TJ and Spinelli together. Lone exception to this as I recall was American Dragon Jake Long. That, of course, was before shows like Gravity Falls and Owl House came along.

Dwampyverse x Bratz

Well...I've kinda gotten into the Bratz universe lately and now I'm kinda thinking about who in the Dwampyverse would best suit each of the Bratz and the Bratz Boyz character wise...

Isabella would totally be 'Pretty Princess' herself Yasmin - the stylish Latina with a soft spot for animals and as evidenced in 'Operation Crumb Cake', Isabella can also do creative writing much like Yasmin.

'Cool Cat' Jade...that would be the scientific mind of the Dwampyverse girls and that's Stacy Hirano.

'Bunny Boo' Sasha...honestly, I wanna say that's Amanda Lopez. Rewatching Milo Murphy's Law, Amanda's kinda like the mom of the Murphy crew even more so than Sara - similar character trait to Sasha.

The last of the original core Bratz is the drama queen herself, 'Angel' Cloe and honestly...that's Candace. She freaks out at anything and everything, crushes on the cool jock Jeremy and do I even need to mention the outfits she went through throughout the series?

For 'Sugar' Phoebe - I think that would go to Melissa Chase, she's sweet, level-headed, mature...but she could also be 'Funky Fashion Monkey' Meygan as Milo's curse has her always hunting for the next adventure.

'Sugar Shoes' Dana...that's gotta be Lydia. Her style is very feminine and girly, just like Dana.

As for their respective boys...

Phineas is so Eitan 'The Dragon' - similar character traits with being a gamer, soccer player and a rocker...plus they have a princess Latina going after them.

Coltrane would be Dylan 'The Fox' - slick, stylish jock and musician, not much more to be said here.

Koby 'The Panther' - I think that would be Zack, especially in season 2 of MML. He became more outgoing as the show went on, his outlook on life became more easy going, he just reminded me of Koby after I watched the Bratz TV show for the first time.

Cameron 'The Blaze' - that would be the only guy who could keep Candace mellow and that's Jeremy. Just like Cameron and Cloe balance each other out, Jeremy does the same for Candace.

Cade 'The Viper' is definitely Milo - sporty, adventurous, easy-going...enough said.

That just leaves Thad 'The Shark' - that would be Bradley. While pessimistic, I think that Lydia would find a certain charm in Bradley she wouldn't expect. He also gives off this strange punk vibe that I didn't see in MML's first run.

Info About The 'Hailey's On It!' AU

So...a little background info about the Hailey's On It! MML AU...

First off, Milo will still have his family curse - but the amount of Murphy's law instances will depend on the difficulty of the attempted list item. So Murphy's law will be helping Melissa with her list.

Melissa became risk-averse like Hailey after Milo got involved in a harrowing go-kart crash on her 10th birthday. I may go into that later.

Also, Zack is the coolest kid in school (a la Genesis). He's also football team captain.

In addition to being a fashion influencer, Amanda is also in the drama club and cheer captain (like Kristine).

Melissa's mom is in the PTA and a big time real estate agent while her dad is still a firefighter. He is also a teacher at Melissa and Milo's school.

Writer's Block Strikes Again...

So, in one of my Milo stories - 'Come Back, Be Here' - I had Melissa go through a seriously traumatic event after she moved to Nashville. I left off with Milo and friends planning to help her out with her 2nd album to get it done quicker and get her out of Nashville before the gang's senior year of high school. It's supposed to start this whole multi-chapter arc where Melissa matures and figures out what she truly wants for herself - based off of Jessica's arc in the 1970 Rankin/Bass special 'Santa Claus is Comin' To Town'. One problem - I don't know how to proceed from there.

I still think it should've been Melissa with Milo...probably the Kim Possible fan in me talking or me still being miffed about being disenfranchised by the Milo S2 finale.

We're all agreeing that Milo got on the elevator on purpose in "Escape," right? Melissa said "Milo hurry it up and get up here it's starting to feel like Zack and I are having a date!" and Milo said "splendid I will get on the elevator so it gets stuck and I don't interrupt their date" he's such a special little wingman to me.

Well, someone did guess right on my Hailey's On It! AU...Milo is definitely Scott Denoga considering the two share the characteristic of not just being the childhood best friend of the female lead but also being chaos causers. Melissa was just the logical choice for Hailey Banks - she's that go-getter, can do kind of girl.

Sidenote: The theme to 'Hailey's On It!' is kinda stuck in my head now...

So...I've been binge-watching Yu-Gi-Oh! GX recently and it got me thinking, what dorms would the Milo crew be in? Would Milo be a Ra Yellow? Slifer Red? How about Melissa? Obelisk Blue for her? Zack in Ra Yellow? Amanda in Obelisk? Would she fall victim to Sartorius?

Yeah...I just started up a Hailey's On It! AU for Milo Murphy's Law...Melissa's the title role, obviously. As for the Scott Denoga...that's up to you to figure out.

In all seriousness, though...have I seriously become the Yu-Gi-Oh! villain of the Milo fandom? If that's the case...which villain would I be? (sincerely hoping for either Pegasus or Zigfried but would settle for Dartz)

Well, I've been rewatching Milo Murphy's Law and honestly...about the only way I see Milo and Melissa getting together is if the high school years were a point in a future season (or special, if either were to just unexpectedly come about). However, after the 'Act Your Age' fiasco, I don't think Dan and Swampy want that mess again.
