 Daniel mind wandered as he listened to Adrian’s answer. Of course...it made sense that they wouldn’t want to stay. Figures. He just hoped...just hoped that his transgressions wouldn’t affect their opinion regarding androids as a whole. That would be the real shame.

He stiffened a moment when he felt a hand against his face, wiping away the beginning of tears from his eyes. He glanced at Adrian a moment before allowing his shoulders to fall as a shaking breath left him. “It’s...it’s fine. Thank you...” He muttered under his breath. He didn’t mind the kindness. It had been a while since he’d experienced it firsthand, and he didn’t mind the idea of someone possibly being trustworthy. He just hoped that it wouldn’t be in vain once again.

He blinked a couple of times before his eyes met the person that the voice came from. “Yes…Yes, I can hear you…” He replied, eyes shifting to glance around the room he was in. The last thing he remembered was talking to…Connor. He’d only reactivated him for a second just to see if he had any information that could be of use to him. Even if he did, he still wouldn’t have told him.

He was lying on a cold, metallic operating table. Where the hell was he? Was he even still anywhere in the police station?

“Where am I?…Who are you?…” He asked, turning to look at the stranger.

At the moment, he's a little unsure of Adrian. The last time he trusted an android who worked for the DPD, it didn't end well for him. With things being different now since then, he's just barely beginning to loosen up. Barely. With Adrian being the first face he's seen since awakening, of course it'd almost be like a baby duck that's imprinted on something...in a way 😂

Yes...he had many, many questions. In fact, he didn't even know where to start. He'd missed so much since his last reactivation, and ever after gaining knowledge about the revolution, he still had some many questions. He suddenly thought back to the cause of all of this, and that fateful night in which everything took a turn for the worse. John was dead, Caroline obviously despised him now, and Emma...God, he committed a cardinal sin that night that was the worst of all the atrocities created by his hands. Breaking the trust of a mere innocent child.

He despised himself for ever doing that to her but at the time, he just couldn't handle all the emotions that left him drowning within his mind. It was all so overwhelming. He turned to Adrian, his eyes somewhat damp as he asked in just barely a whisper, "Are...are they okay now?..."
