I’ve been spending a TON of time in HeroForge ever since the kitbashing update launched 🥲

This is my character from a Tal’Dorei campaign I’m playing!

Her name is Adjira Xistrith. She’s a shadar kai who left the Shadowfell in an attempt to defy her fate of undying servitude to the Raven Queen. She worked as a mercenary for a time before being inducted into a secretive guild claiming they sought to eradicate the monstrosities of the world.

They taught her the ways of the Blood Hunter, where she thrived and excelled in felling her marks. After years of service, the guild welcomed her to their inner circle: a potent gift of lycanthropy to those resilient enough to survive the trial.

After barely surviving the turning ritual, she was forever changed: her muscles twinged with power, and few targets could hope to stand toe to toe against a hemocraft-wielding werewolf.

Adjira was proud of her power and loved her work. After all, she was making the world a safer place with her own two hands (or paws, depending on the circumstance). It wasn’t until the guild revealed their true purpose to her after she was in its deepest confines: they were the Insatiable Heart, a branch of the Remnants which sought to resurrect the Betrayer God Vecna.

Realizing all too late that she was now in the deepest of shit (not to mention being too opposed to the Raven Queen, even for her), she fled the cult and returned to the Shadowfell to beg the Matron of Death for forgiveness. She was granted amnesty by her in exchange for servitude in undoing her past mistakes.

Although she is now on the path to redemption, she is still cursed by the ever-watchful eye of the Whispered One: she cannot reveal her true name nor any details of her past, no matter how desperately she would like to. Unable to confide in anybody, she adopted the name Fang and works as a bounty hunter in Stilben.

She’s quite tall at 6’2” and built extremely large, which compliments her penchant for greatswords. Forgoing many of the finer arts of hemocraft, she instead focuses on raw power to overwhelm her enemies. With a hemocraft lightning infused hunk of metal for a weapon, she cleaves bloody paths through her enemies… and she has a soft spot for cute animals? She doesn’t like to show weakness to anybody, but she can’t help but simper at the sight of a kitten!
