Some days just aren’t those days

Day 31 - Aloha

Yay!! I finished it! It's the first day of June, but I drew this one on May 31st. It's a little lazy artwork, but I'm out of energy right now. It was a fun challenge, and I've learned many things.

Now I want to relax for a few weeks. There's an ArtFight event in July, but I'm not sure yet whether I'll participate. I also want to try new art supplies - I have gouache and acrylic paints, so maybe I'll give them a go soon.

Day 29-30 Lovers

One day before final artwork!!! Aaa

Just drew a couple od mermaids. Their tails have funny colors, and they just happen to be similar to the colors of the portals from the "Portal" kekw.

Day 27-28 Kokoshnik I drew a mermaid in a Russian national costume. So to speak, this is a version of the "H2O: Just add water" series in the setting of ancient Rus'. According to the mini-plot, the assistant accidentally poured water on the lady and this happened. She is clearly unhappy.

Day 25-26 Braid

This theme has different values in Russian (braid or scythe). I chose braid theme and drew a girl. Some red colors, yay. A few days before the finish, aa, have no power.

Day 23-24 Throne

I had some ideas for this day, but chose this one. Just a king on the throne. He is sitting in old underwater castle. Little lazy artwork, meh.

Day 21-22 Shining

I thought about Northen Light when i read "shining" and drew this picture. I wanted to draw a woman or a young lady at firts, but chose a baby. The sketch of baby was better XD.

It was cool to draw ice things and killer whale tail, haha.

Day 19-20 Twins I found one artwork with interesting pose and wanter to draw something like this. But i change poses and drew these twins girls. I thought about color pallete for long.. And i remembered that i have shiny paints. I used it to draw their tails (photo can't show gloss) but it looks nice in real life.

Day 17-18 Fire

And here comes the unexpected SpongeBob. The only place where water and fire are revered was this series, as far as my memory serves, haha. In the mini-storyline, this mermaid was dumped by her boyfriend and that's how she ended up in Bikini Bottom. She just sits there watching the fire together with SpongeBob.

Moreover, something strange started happening exactly on this sheet of paper. It seems like there's an issue with the gluing. Sadly, I thought it would go without surprises.

Day 15-16 Mage

I couldn't decide on the color combination I wanted to see in the picture for a long time. So you can see blue and green on the mermaid's tail. There were several mistakes during painting, but they could be eliminated during editing.
