That's a cute idea, actually. I think Kushina would have had the time of her life. And Rin, unused to such an activities, too (her mom not as psychically touchy & dressing up and make over just isn't her mother thing).

I think the saddest thing in Naruto is that people in here had the potential to be great. To each other. As family. Or lovers. Or else.

But Zetsu happened.

#Obito and Sasuke would have been very close I believe #the man has this quiet side to him I think Sasuke would have liked #Itachi was rarely there in later years and I think if Obito was around it would have been him Sasuke would come for advice #or ask for advanced training (and get hia ass handled to him)#Kakashi and Rin in later years could have been actually great friends #the two nerds who finally found the one to yapp the ear out about the current spicy book they're reading #Sakura could have had some strength training with Obito before Tsunade #...#Madara and Tobirama are actually really similar #they're two similar persons with a completely different temperaments which is actually what was the reason of their clashing #(besides the obvious other reason)#and like...if not for Tobirama being the one to deadly hurt Izuna he would have slowly grow on Madara #and same for Madara....but at much slower pace #.....#Madara could have been somewhat good great grandpa to Obibi #naruto #naruto headcanons

Not family, not lovers, but a secret third thing

(friends. They're literally just friends. They didn't grow up together, they don't have the same parental figure, one didn't raise the other, they certainly have no blood relations. There's nothing sibling-coded or parent/child coded about these two adults who share a close platonic relationship.
