Inner Peace

When I was in my 3rd year of high school, I had this teacher. His name was Randy. Sir Randy Punzalan. He kept going on and on about Kung Fu Panda 2 -- he said we should watch it because it had great life lessons. He enjoyed watching it with his wife, especially with his son. It wasn't a requirement for the subject he was teaching. The movie was just that good, and he wanted to share it with us.

Being a depressed 3rd year student, I payed no mind to it. I didn't watch it at that time because I wasn't that big of a Kung Fu Panda fan, and I was going through a few of my own problems. I didn't give watching the movie a thought at all. I thought I was better than the movie, and didn't need a lesson in life.

- Now, after watching it, I feel less stressed. I feel less depressed.A movie about accepting the bad things. Finding inner peace.I now linger less on sad memories and bad decisions. Writing Prompt 30 Day Challenge

I am really grateful to the people who try to reach out to me with simple questions like "Are you okay?", "Did something happen?". Yes. Please don't stop. Don't leave me alone.

Even if I brush you guys away, thank you for still trying.

Even if I look like I don't appreciate your efforts, I do.

I joke around and try to make the people around me laugh because I don't want them to feel what I'm feeling. I may look all happy and cheerful most of the time, but I'm not. I am a special type of mess.

Crushes

I can't believe it took me this long to realize that crushes aren't meant to 'destroy' you by giving you false hope. Crushes are there to inspire you. They are there to motivate you to do better. To reach a new milestone. It happens when you least expect it. She inspired me to live a healthier life style. She inspired me to listen in class, and she inspired me to keep chasing my dreams. Even though she didn't exactly tell me to do any of these, I guess crushing on someone means imitating them, hehe. She's a good person.

Oh, here's one more thing. She gave me this positive perspective on life. And thanks to her, I'm less of a psycho now.
