My body: "cool neat," *displaces rib* "but can you throw pottery with this?"

I do love cats, I wish I wasn't so very allergic to them.

Except the one cat that woke me up by jumping on my face at 2 am and then continued batting my face for two hours because he wanted pets. He also bit me because I did not give him pets (I fell back to sleep after grabbing my emergency inhaler due to the aforementioned face jumping). I don't love him.

I feel like the reason certain dog-lovers insist cats are evil is because they read their body language as if they were dogs. So here’s a very basic guide to common “mean” things cats do that actually aren’t mean at all if you know what they’re thinking.

Rolling and exposing belly- attacks you when touched Does not mean: Give belly rubs! - haha I tricked you!  Actually means: I’m playful! If you reach for my belly I’ll grab your arm and bite it because I think we’re playfighting! 

Lazily exposing belly - still attacks when touched Does not mean: tricked you again! Actually means: I’m showing you my belly because I trust you. Please don’t break that trust by invading my personal space. I might accept a belly rub if I’m not ticklish and I know you well. Snapping at you while being pet Does not mean: I suddenly decided I dislike you! Actually means: You’re petting me in a way that gives me too much restless energy. Please focus on petting my head and shoulders instead of stroking the full length of my back next time.

Is in the same room but makes no attempt to interact Does not mean:  I’m ignoring you Actually means: We’re hanging out! I’m being respectful by giving you space while still enjoying your company. Slapping/scratching your hand when you try to pet them Does not mean: I hate you! Actually means: You’ve failed to establish that we’re not playing, or the way you’re approaching me scares me. Be calmer, speak more gently, make eye-contact and blink slowly at me before you try again.

I'm of the opinion offices should have 1 to 3 people whose side task/specialty is raising minor hells so that the rest of us have something to talk about and keep things interesting.

truly do not understand workplace drama. we're stuck here doing stupid bullshit for 8 hours and you want to make it worse? But on the other hand I love hearing about arguments that are not and never will be my problem

How stupid would it be to change my shop name again? Probably a bad idea. Especially because Hearthglow captures the thing that makes my stuff special (ew I complimented myself it feels icky) is the glow effect I put on some pieces.

One of the major dividing lines of our age is between those who think it's worthwhile to cooperate and work with other people, accepting their flaws and limitations, to build something larger than ourselves, and those who think everything is fundamentally hopeless and that other people are corrupt, degenerate, and suspect. Seriously I actually adored S4. Wasn't a huge fan of season 1 and 2 but S4? So good. It feels like they got back to their casual/comfortable vibe, it didn't feel forced. They found GREAT EVIDENCE and the locations were interesting. I keep watching the episodes on repeat in the background while I do stuff. Definitely loved season 4.

I love you Ghost Files I love you hand written challenges and stupid bits I love you black envelopes with green wax seal I love you cinematic shots of Ryan and Shane sitting on the floor. Love you ovilus and detunes cat eye mask love you Ryan's beanie in every color known to man. Love that the quality doesn't suffer even if the eps were done in 3 months instead of half a year. Love you creepy illustations that add to the atmosphere during the ep love you bigger S and smaller R coin on the floor plan. Love you red telephone with people calling with evidence from that ep in he intro. Love that every season is different and it improves hope this show will be here for another five years and more. Love you every single detail that goes into making an episode that you think people will not notice. But I assure you some people will.
