NON CONVENTIONAL MYS PAIRINGS

These aren't romantic unless specified, from my own personal interpretation of My Street

Dante / Zenix

This came from a silly headcanon that when everyone leaves to Starlight Wonderland, Dante is so bored he picks up gaming, and since Gene is always busy with finances of the club and Sasha doesn't like Dante (from his flirting attempts), Zenix hangs out occasionally with him, so they set up gaming 'dates' with pizza and everything.

Garroth / Zenix

Is this one inspired by Diaries? Yes. NO BUT SERIOUSLY, WHY NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THIS PAIRING THE OPPORTUNITIES!! Anyways back in HS I feel they got along decently before Zenix joined the SKs, then they almost acted like separated lovers (Laur's words not mine)

As adults, Zenix is a bit more mature but still not very much, so I feel like their duo is alcoholic x stoner. Garroth tends to drink a lot to deal with his problems, and Zenix is just a casual smoker, but they tend to have the most mind boggling conversations when they're drunk and stoned respectively.

Jeffory / Reese

Two forgotten characters? Yes please!! Though in my head Reese wouldn't be pink, kind of doing a thing when traveling between dimensions his appearance would alter to fit that certain dimension. So MYS! Reese is actually Mod Mod World Reese, but after leaving that dimension, he stumbles into My Steeet and settles there with his brother and best friend for a better life.

When does he meet Jeffory? At his job, since many disregard him, he ended up working at a daycare when he can tell kids of his home dimension as a 'bedtime story' to keep it alive. He takes care of Abby with Jeffory in a sort of platonic dads situation.

Shadow Knights / Vylad

Vylad sometimes needs a place to stay after his travels, but since he left his parents' house, where does he go? Well- he got along decently with Sasha during college, so she offered a place for him to stay once they got their house.

The others aren't thrilled about a 'rich boy' in their house, but Vylad is surprisingly chill and not like they had imagined him. He helps Gene talk out his emotions, geeks out about video games with Zenix, and meditates with Sasha. He's an unofficial Shadow Knight, Zenix had a patch embroidered and ironed onto one of his jackets.

Daniel / Garroth

Please, don't tell me they wouldn't get along, THEY WOULD! I feel like Daniel would teach Garroth the ropes about being a werewolf in his own silly way. Chocolate poisoning? Too often, but so worth it to eat brownies. Aaron would scold those two more often than necessary.

Fenrir / Balto (maybe romantic)

These two only appeared in PDH, but imagine adulthood? Fenrir polite and soft spoken, then Balto hotheaded and rough. They'd probably always clash but get along in their own way.

I don't remember where I saw a HC that Balto and Zenix are cousins, but I feel like Balto has a similar personality TO Zenix, without the love for pink that is.

THE VOID AND THE SHADOW

n/a: SHORT FICLET? TEXT? IDK something I wrote inspired from this drawing, hope y'all enjoy!

Brian remembers well the first time he met Zenix. He had just come back from O'khasis after guard training, having earned his orange rank.

His mother threw him a feast - his father begrudgingly not asking questions- yet, that same night since he was quote:

'Younger and less experienced' they set him on night patrol, that is where he met him.

Zenix was stood by the housing 'district' of Phoenix Drop, deep in thought. He used to have a distinctive short haircut and wore a golden cross earring, as if signifying some kind of title or rank.

He wore a deep scarlet cape, one he only slipped on during winter to protect his chainmail clad body from the cold.

Though Brian never thought he'd meet another person with those demonic red eyes he was trying to escape. The same ones that have brought a world of pain upon his young mind.

Zenix, meanwhile, was enjoying the humanity these people made him feel. He had just 'turned' seventeen, a milestone for many, but a bitter reminder of what he's lost to the boy.

Brian though, in some twisted way, was like him, both broken from a young age, traumatized and forced into his bidding. If the burn of emptiness running across his face said anything, he was as much of a victim as Zenix was.

The magical veins left behind, well by being exposed to large amounts of Shadow Knight magic were apparent against his tanned skin, yet unlike Zenix, he always kept a good attitude and a big smile on his face.

If they knew they'd form such a close bond due to their experiences.

Ik I haven't written them into my rewrite yet but do we fw these designs???

I changed Nekoette's name because it was always weird to me, I didn't snag her name out of persona 4 wdym??? (You can tell I've been watching Apothecary Diaries a lot sorry not sorry)

I also wanted Dmitri to have a strong resemblance to Dante + Gene, so much so that sometimes Dante can see Gene in him (young Gene btw)

I have a running gag in mind that the Adalhard's (Dante and Gene's family) have a stupid smirk that shows their teeth (inspired by @/dilly-dahlia's rendition of Gene in TPWP)

Nanako (Nekoette)

She carries a basket with her to pick fruits for Naname's baking.

The amulet she's wearing is the same one young Dante wore in my previous post

Her hair is like- a weird faux mullet??? I vibed w it so that's what stuck

Mei'fwas in my rewrite have paws for both their hands and feet, but Nanako always hides her hand paws.

Nanako while young isn't as impressionable as her original counterpart. She knows the world us ugly, but still chooses to see the good in everyone (Aaron, Zane, that'll make sense when I ramble about him)

Dmitri

His palms and soles of his feet are lighter than the rest of his body

He inherited Dante's weird hair genetics (having the streaks of red in his hair like Dante has streaks of black)

He's wearing Nicole's old goggles, he uses them to travel through wilderness so nothing gets into his eyes.

Actually, since he left Scaleswind to live with his other family he's been carrying a travel backpack to sleep anywhere (DOESN'T HELP HE KEEPS STOWING AWAY!)

I hc him as being extremely smart, but picking to not show it because he's embarrassed. When on the Phoenix Alliance ship he's fascinated by Chad's mechanism for the ship (he does come from the same steam punk village after all)

I tried my best to make Cassandra stand on her own (my rewrite tossed to the side) because I think Boboros as a blue/perrywinkle tone due to my own HCs (the flower that represents Boboros in my rewrite being Forget me Nots)
