Ik I haven't written them into my rewrite yet but do we fw these designs???

I changed Nekoette's name because it was always weird to me, I didn't snag her name out of persona 4 wdym??? (You can tell I've been watching Apothecary Diaries a lot sorry not sorry)

I also wanted Dmitri to have a strong resemblance to Dante + Gene, so much so that sometimes Dante can see Gene in him (young Gene btw)

I have a running gag in mind that the Adalhard's (Dante and Gene's family) have a stupid smirk that shows their teeth (inspired by @/dilly-dahlia's rendition of Gene in TPWP)

Nanako (Nekoette)

She carries a basket with her to pick fruits for Naname's baking.

The amulet she's wearing is the same one young Dante wore in my previous post

Her hair is like- a weird faux mullet??? I vibed w it so that's what stuck

Mei'fwas in my rewrite have paws for both their hands and feet, but Nanako always hides her hand paws.

Nanako while young isn't as impressionable as her original counterpart. She knows the world us ugly, but still chooses to see the good in everyone (Aaron, Zane, that'll make sense when I ramble about him)

Dmitri

His palms and soles of his feet are lighter than the rest of his body

He inherited Dante's weird hair genetics (having the streaks of red in his hair like Dante has streaks of black)

He's wearing Nicole's old goggles, he uses them to travel through wilderness so nothing gets into his eyes.

Actually, since he left Scaleswind to live with his other family he's been carrying a travel backpack to sleep anywhere (DOESN'T HELP HE KEEPS STOWING AWAY!)

I hc him as being extremely smart, but picking to not show it because he's embarrassed. When on the Phoenix Alliance ship he's fascinated by Chad's mechanism for the ship (he does come from the same steam punk village after all)

The golden lasso! The easiest relic to create if you have a basic understanding of magic and soul harvesting. The bull soul must be harvest ethically or the lasso or string will not work ( usually there’s a farm of bulls and they’re taken care of until the day they die) in order to lasso someone they must being consenting towards it or it just doesn’t work, as for baby’s it’s tricky and sadly it’s very easy to kidnap a kid like that which is why there’s the bell kids are taught a jingle when they’re young so they can alert someone that they’re trapped in a lasso, but as I said babies kinda are up for the napping SO WATCH THEM ‼️‼️ as for the golden string it doesn’t trap someone it binds the souls of the wearer ( usually wore in weddings)

Am I the only one who actually enjoys aaron mcd and mystreet unironicly? Sure he's not perfect but I enjoy his dynamics.

Them puppy boying him was weird and I would have preferred a different approach. The idea of him finally being able to relax and not feel the need to hide himself is what I want for him.

Should they have played fetch with him? No.

Should he get a chance to be normal? Fuck yes!

As much as I enjoy the lore the later seasons of mystreet provide, I would have much rather Shad be the antagonist that came back, rather than Michael. I already feel like Shad is a way more interesting character (Having a fairly good reason why he is the way that he is.) and with his return, you could have access to the shadow knights, easily one of the coolest parts of MCD.

You don’t even have to use the same characters you used as Shadow knights in MCD. Like for example, what if Gene accidentally got Dante killed somehow and he came back as a shadow knight. That could be a really cool parallel to what happened in MCD.

Or maybe some of the immortal shadow knights could be brought to mystreet, like Vincent, and try to aid Aphmau and friends to defeat Shad.

You could also use this as a way to tell the audience what happened to Shads character and more of his backstory and motivations (considering that MCD s3 was cut short.)

There are so many ways you could take it, and I have so many ideas, I might make this it’s own au or something.
