Rewatching AOURD in less than a week after I finished for the first time

That girl on episode one that got bitten by the hamster?? Could never be me. Hamsters are evil little demons that eat their young and each other. They are not cute and I would have never put my finger inside that cage for the little demon spawn to bit me.

All of Us are Dead is like the best Netflix show that I have seen in the last 6 months.

Like, I do not want a second season, I need it as much as I need air to breathe.

Our man, Cheong-san ofc, is an idiot that sacrificed himself for the gang and he has to be brought back as a halfbie. And I don't fucking care how they do that. Plot armour? I don't care about her, this is not about her, this is about Cheong-san coming back. A plot hole?? Never heard of her.

A Daenerys Rant™️

Not anti-Daenerys

In one of the last Daenerys chapters in a Game of Thrones (don't know which one because my printed version doesn't have numbered chapters, just the name), Mirri Maz Durr Is begged by Dany to save Drogo.

And correct me if I am wrong, but Mirri's objective seemed to kill the chosen one, Dany's and Drogo's son, the stallion that mounts the world, because it was prophesied that will be the greatest Khal, but, he will bring lots of destruction.

But she didn't, cause the stallion that mounts the world wasn't the baby, it was Dany herself. It can also be one of the dragons, Drogon it's like the obvious one if you take this idea; but what about the dragon that was named after the unborn child and the silver prince, Rhaegal.

Why there aren't Rhaegal gifs?? Rhaegal is best boi 😒

I personally prefer Dany being the stallion, and GOT when that way, even if it was never stated as such. I agree that Dany did good by our standards to liberate the slaves, she still burned the economy of whole cities and the liberated loved her, until they had to feed themselves and had no money. But it is still good? She liberated them!! Freedom is better!! The greatness she brought is over shadow by the pain she moves with

I really believe that Dany will have a darker path moving forward, I don't think she'll burn a city, that is more likely Griff's doing that will probably be blame onto the lady with the fire breathing creatures. Will she burn an army? If it's needed, her ancestors did. I don't think she'll just snap by hearing bells, also most likely Griff, but she'll probably be lead by Tyrion, who is in the darkest place mentally, to be ruthless and then young Griff and maybe Jon(?) to not have mercy or the lost of one of her dragons (Viserion probs).

Maybe to her very last moments, she'll think she was doing good.

Reading ASOIAF in another language

I am a native spanish speaker, that’s why my english is written really rough.

But reading A Song of Ice and Fire both in english and spanish are completely different experiences.

Let me explain

In english, there are many words that are pronounced the same o sound really similar even to the trained ear. 

Like sun and son

Or Dorne and Dawn

And it might seem a little dumb, but the only thing I remember from my spanish lectures from high school, is that  a lot is lost in translation, the meaning of a poem or changes the perception of the characters.

Now that I have read the first and second book, now I do understant a lot better and if your native language is not english and you’ve read the book in another language, I encourage you to at least give it a try.

Best boy Robb Stark deserved to have his book story arc in the TV series, a essay.

Don't get me wrong, I kinda of liked Talisa Maegyr and her background in Volantis was better than half of the story arcs in season 7, but her 'i am not like other nobles' it wasn't enough to replace Jeyne Westerling.

So, I am really trying not to be that person, but Talisa falling in love with best boy Robb isn't as exciting as Jeyne seducing an injured Robb that has just taken her family's castle.

While both women one way or another, cause the downfall of the King in the North. Also, the reason they slept together isn't as shocking to the audience/reader. While in the second season of the TV show, is because Cat Stark sets free the most important prisoner the had, baby boy Jaime Lannister, (which low-key also helps to cause the downfall), in Storm of Swords is the aftermath of finding out what Theon had done to Robb's little brothers in Winterfell what leads Jeyne to comfort and later bed Robb, which leads him to marry her in order to preserver her honor, breaking his word to the Freys (leading to his death (tho I believe that the Freys were always gonna betray him)).

One is for love, the other one for duty and how foolish are the Stark kids in general, all of them had fairytale ideas of the world, not only Sansa, as many believe.

Also that Jeyne is still alive somewhere over Westeros...

Just a GOT rant

I remember saying I'll be rewatching GOT, but it always kinda sucked(?

Like, we all trash seasons 6 7 8, but the fact that they didn't dye all the Stark kids' hair like they did with Sansa and Cat is like, yikes. I mean, it was a great idea because Richard Madden looked his best, but for the other kids.

Is it really important? Yes, because it helps with Arya's felling like an outcast even though she is the only daughter that has the looks of the North, which is the reason why she became so close to second best boy, Jon Snow. She belongs more in the North than her siblings, she knows who she is, Arya of House Stark, a daughter of a great house, but still she is an outcast in her family household because she isn't a redhead.
