"I'm from Konohagakure in the Land of Fire," Rin answered automatically. The fact that she probably wasn't even in the same universe as Konoha hadn't really been wrapped around her head yet. She was sure that Lilynette had never heard of it before.

"Although I'm pretty sure don't have a clue where that it." She gave a quiet laugh and closed her eyes. Rin missed Konoha, but she knew that if she went back, things would be very complicated. She would have to explain what happened, where she'd been, and why she was older than she should be.

"Where are you from, then?" Rin opened here eyes again and looked back at Lilynette. And as an afterthought, she added, "Would you mind if I called you Lily?"

“1B-A,” Lily repeated to herself, steering them in the general direction of said building. Wasn’t there someone she knew that lived in that building too…? Meh, that didn’t really matter now. She could figure it out later. “I’ve never met her,” Lilynette answered honestly, though she had heard of Haineko around campus.

A wide smile stretched across her face as she watched Rin’s eyes widen at the sight of the campus. “Yup!” she confirmed. The grandeur of the dormitories wasn’t yet lost on the arrancar female, though she did believe that her palace in Las Noches was better because it had tons and tons more pillows she could jump around in.

“Where’re ya from Rin-chan?” she asked as they approached closer to the buildings. She could tell that she was from the other world, but she had yet to hear of the topography of it.

Rin listened to the boy's soft voice speaking to her. Nodding in agreement, her eyebrows scrunched up slightly. "The few ninja I've met aren't familiar to me. Some of them even live in Konoha and I've never even seen them before," Rin told him, wondering if her trip here had messed her head up. "I know our village is big, but I  have a pretty good memory."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Haku-san. I'm just getting caught up in my own thoughts, heh~."

After hearing his question, dozens of memories began flooding back into her mind, demanding to be seen again. She shut her eyes tightly and felt a dull ache in her chest; namely her heart.

"Ah, I-I, uh..." Rin took a moment to get herself back under control. She'd pushed the reason she was even here to the back of her mind and wasn't quite expecting it to be brought up again. With a small cough, she began to explain.

"I'm not really sure how I got here, if I'm being honest. All I can remember is being ambushed on a mission and my teammate shoving his hand through my chest and then the next thing I knew, I was being sucked into m-" She cleared her throat, trying her hardest not to  get choked up. "My other teammate, who I thought was dead, sucked me into his eye - that sounds really crazy, I know - and I ended up here. Two years older, if I may add." Hearing herself say it, she was positive she sounded like she came from a mental hospital.

“That is correct,” he confirmed with a smile. It would not have posed difficulty to conclude her place of origin even if the girl was not wearing her protector. Rin’s personality was bubbly and warm, and it reflected the privileged lifestyle Konoha-nin were presented with since birth. It was their birthright to be happy. “It is actually quite relieving to meet other shinobi around this facility regardless of their origin. It keeps me sane,” he joked, though it was mostly true.

If there were not any other ninja around, it would prove to be an extremely lonely existence. That was something Haku wished to avoid with all of his being.

In reference to her mentioning only her acquaintance with pleasant personalities, Haku chuckled softly. “I am happy to hear it, Nohara-san.” Giving the girl a bit more space from his previous intrusion, he formulated another question. “Nohara-san,” he began after a slight pause. “How did you even come across this academy? By chance?”

Rin followed Lilynette and found herself taking in her surroundings as she walked by. It was a beautiful campus; she couldn't think of a time when she had seen a school as large and magnificent as Iwakiri. The school grounds were much, much larger than the Academy back home. And so far, the atmosphere here was about as relaxing as Konoha.

The brunette's eyes shot back to Lilynette, her question pulling her out of her own thoughts. "I'm in 1B-A," Rin told her. "I haven't met my roomate yet, surprisingly, but I think her name was Haineko?" She smiled at the girl. "I'll remember that. Thank you~."

Beyond the two of them, Rin saw large, two-story buildings made from various red-colored bricks. The front 'porch' was surrounded by a few massive pillars, and surrounding the buildings were trees even taller than it. Rin pointed towards them.

"Are those the dorms?" She could hardly imagine living in something like that. She'd never seen any kind of living quarters that looked like that back home.

With a nod, Lilynette started towards the dormitories, motioning for the brunette to follow. She found it fun to think that she was some sort of unofficial guide for some of the new students, showing them off to their living arrangements. She didn’t really mind though, it gave her a chance to meet more people and do something besides kick rocks around.

Turning to the girl, Lilynette glimpsed over her visage. “Where d’ya live? I’m in 4B-A. I don’t have a roommate, so you can stop by anytime if ya want.”

Happy birthday to my babycake~! I can't wait until Kishimoto tells us more about you because I love you so much already, and I wish I knew more. You're great and I really hope - even though it's not very likely - that you're still alive somewhere in the background. This is what I made for you in the time I had and I wish I could have created something absolutely amazing. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A chilly good evening to you Iwakiri! I hope you’re all staying warm and avoiding a certain crazy ginger with a god complex. This is a shout out going to a lovely young lady celebrating her birthday, so if you see miss Nohara, be sure to give her a hug and tell her happy birthday, yes? ^_^

As Rin listened to Lilynette speak, she got good vibes from her. She didn't seem to have any underlying, evil plans and for that, Rin was glad. She didn't need to involve herself with people like that.

"That would actually be really great, thank you!" The brunette let out a sigh of relief. She had been having trouble figuring her way around the new school, and although she was getting lost less frequently, help didn't hurt.

Rin’s return of the smile made Lilynette glad. Maybe she could be friends with this new girl, who knew?

“I thought so! Ya need help gettin’ around?” Lilynette offered. Iwakiri was a large, strange place, and this girl would probably get eaten alive if she wasn’t careful.

Despite her previous thoughts on the boy, who she now knew as Kon, Rin thought he was a pretty nice guy. At least so far. Their 'conversation' so far couldn't even be described as that; neither had said much yet. But all of that aside, the brunette found no reason to dislike Kon.

"I'm kind of overwhelmed with this situation," Rin admitted. "I'm still not entirely sure how I got here and the it's taken some getting used to. But other than that, I'm fine." She blushed, realizing that she had just rambled on and said more than she really needed to. "Ah... How are you?"

New people about the school

Rin entered her new classroom, unsure of where she should sit. Looking up to see which seats were empty, her eyes fell on a snot-nosed - literally - boy, most likely older than her. She wrinkled her nose slightly before noticing that the only open seats were near him. 'Well, I don't have any other choices.'

Rin took the seat next to him and jumped slightly when he spoke to her. She turned her head to face him.

"Hm? Oh, hi. I'm Rin; nice to meet you~."

New people about the school

 His head sleeping behind an aranged stack of books as to hide his face his snot bubble popping as he was woken up by the bell at the front of the door. He looked around and started to pout at what he saw entering the class, a bunch of new students walking in, male, male, flat, flat, male , flat, HOLY COW her eyes are creepy, flat, male. He let out a groan as a couple of them sat near him in the class as if he could ever get a break in this school, he leaned his head back letting out an exhale. And turning his head to greet the newbie.

“Sup, Names kon, an’ yours?”

Rin scratched her temple, slightly embarrassed at his words. She was positive that he had plenty more experience than she did, but nevertheless, Rin always thought that her skills were moderate. She figured that she would learn a lot more from Mayuri down the road.

"Science club?" Rin thought that it sounded interesting enough and decided that it wouldn't hurt to join. "I'll definitely join~."

Kurotsuchi couldn’t help but let a few chuckles out from his throat.  “A day to a few?” he repeated.  “Well, you’re an amateur.  But not everyone is as great as I am.  But I’m sure with a little of my assistance, you can improve greatly.”

“I run the Science Club in the school.  I shall allow you to become a member if you desire.  I’m sure you would value greatly from my intellect.”

Rin's eyes fell upon a green haired girl with a bright smile. It was almost contagious, and she couldn't help but return it, although it wasn't as grand. She felt significantly better as she introduced herself as Lilynette.

"Yeah, I am. I just got here not too long ago," Rin told her, folding her hands together behind her back.

Lily’s ears perked up, and she turned towards the girl. She seemed nice enough, and cute too. Walking towards the girl, Lilynette gave a wide smile, hoping to ease some of the nervousness that resonated off the brunette.

“I’m Lilynette Gingerbuck. You’re new, right?”

“I hope you have been treated well enough thus far, Nohara-san. There are strange and oftentimes cruel people who attend this extraordinary institution. Be wary of them~”

"So far I've met some pretty nice people. But there are definitely some I've seen that I'm not sure I'd want to talk to." Rin laughed shortly before watching Haku step towards her. She saw that his attention was directed towards her forehead protector.

“Am I right to assume that you are a ninja, Nohara-san? From Konohagakure, I presume?”

Rin's eyes drifted towards his own forehead protector, just now noticing that he was a ninja, as well. "Yes, I am, actually. And you're from Kirigakure, right?"

“I hope you have been treated well enough thus far, Nohara-san. There are strange and oftentimes cruel people who attend this extraordinary institution. Be wary of them~” It was all mentioned with a smile, and the playful nature of the boy’s tone difficult to miss.

Stepping a bit closer to the young brunette, Haku was able to conclude that she was, in fact, a shinobi. She didn’t seem to have any foreign energies radiating from her body as Hollow or Shinigami often did. It was a subconscious relief to the boy who had constant run-ins with nothing but inhuman beings. That wasn’t to say that he didn’t enjoy their company, mind you, but a little interaction with those from ‘home’ never hurt.

“Am I right to assume that you are a ninja, Nohara-san?” Lifting a hand, a painted nail tapped against the cool metal of Haku’s own forehead protector gently. “From Konohagakure, I presume?”

// Two of my aunts came in from England today and I've been cleaning and spending time with them all day. So I'll reply to things tomorrow because I'm exhausted right now~
