01022018:《Long-post alert!》 At the turn of every new year, I normally don't bother making dozens of resolutions (or invoke the 'new year new me' cliches I see oh so many times) alternatively, I strive to ensure that by the end of that particular year, I would be a better version of myself. 2017 was an year that I did not just merely survive, but rather I thrived; with passion, compassion, relentless dedication, a little bit of humor and some style. 😏 I took my time & chances & managed to soar to greater heights,arriving at destinations/contexts I have always dreamed of. I made new friends from various corners of the globe and met people who have been significant in guiding me careerwise be it with a simple word of advice or two. For these reasons and more, I am proud yet beholden of how the year went for me. Forbye, 2017 was also an year I faced very many challenges, most of which I braced all suited up 👔with a smile while others saw me go to silent get aways, to help me reflect on my decisions and subsequent steps, with the last two months being the toughest. Nonetheless, I appreciate those challenges as I emerged stronger, braver and wiser. I'm a realist thus I know 2018 will also have its challenges because that's life for you; so instead of wishing you a happy one as it won't be all merry for the whole lot of it, I encourage ya'll to survive it, emerge better versions of yourselves and make a difference in your societies! 🤓👌 Like Ralph Waldo Emerson, I dare you to not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail!!✊ Here's to new regaling achievements and adventures!!🍻🍼😏

Earlier today: We paid a courtesy visit to the Serbian Ambassador to Kenya at his Embassy, H.E. Amb Dragan Zupanjevac, with whom we indulged in a brief history of the bilateral ties between our two nations for instance, his country's role in supporting the MauMau struggle for independence,and they (Serbia) being among the first nations to recognize our independence.
