Sherlock Holmes is truly every woman’s greatest fantasy: a sexist man gets humiliated by a woman much smarter than him and he responds by having a ton of respect for her and never being sexist ever again.

It's so insane to me that so many straight male Sherlock Holmes fans see him as this super badass Masculine Hero who's so cool and Manly and immune to Silly Little Feminine Emotions when in reality he is, and I say this with all the love in my dykey little heart, A Faggot.

Straight men are really out here fantasizing about the Heroic Super-Masculine Toughguy Adventures of a guy who plays violin, builds pillow forts, loves puppies, has a scrapbook, keeps bees, and whose two main hobbies are solving puzzles and taking his boyfriend out on dates. Like I think they've literally just made up a completely separate character in their heads.

I had really shit day today, so here’s my rant. (Not intentionally directed towards anyone except the kids in my history class.. sigh)

I don’t entirely understand why this needs to be said, but disrespecting teachers isn’t funny.

Swearing in class (if you’re in a younger grade at least)? Not funny.

SCREAMING in class? Not funny.

Talking when people are presenting? Not funny.

You’re just being a jerk.

INTRODUCTION

Helloooo people ! I’m Roan (or Ronnie). I am sapphic and nonbinary (they/them pronouns) ! I’d like to take a moment to talk about what will be going on on my tumblr page (because a LOT will be going on..)

I will quite often make posts about my interests, which do change quite frequently but one you can always count on is Sherlock Holmes (any adaption ever, I love it all) and psychology. I may post my poetry occasionally as well !

I’ll also try my best to post daily rants/rambles about things I feel strongly about such as; LGBTQ+ community equality, Black Lives Matter, mental health, and other slightly random things that I think of or things that happen to me. I also am happy to give any advice to anyone who needs it or answer any questions 💗
