The sad part of liking a rarepair is being the first person to do art of it [and to my shame, it's not even finished]

Am I the Asshole for telling my sister and mother they're women therefore not valuable?
Ok, I know this sounds bad, but hear me out.
So I (10M) was born in a big hero family. My mother (30F) married my father (40M) before I was born. For the sake of privacy I won't give out names, so let's just call my mother R and my dad E.
Anyway, when I was born E decided to train me. It was all fun and dandy until my sister F(8F) was born. Then it all started going downhill. I also ended up with a little brother N(5M) who I love because he's a guy and we're bros. Whatever, life was good, until E realised my quirk is too strong and I won't survive. That's when my youngest brother S(2M) was born with the perfect quirk and I wish I was joking but he EVEN HAS TWO QUIRKS.
So anyways I tried to kill my brother like, three times, didn't work, whatever. R and F keep begging me to stop training and here is where I might be the asshole: I told them they're women therefore not really valuable compared to me, a man. N told me off and F and R started crying but I think i had a point, after all r/MGTOW said the same.
So, reddit, AITA?

Been a bit slow on my rewatch, but finally finished S5 a few days ago! Season 5: Possession
Tumblr media
This season also holds up really well-- At least, up until the end. Maybe it’s just me, but the overall ending felt rushed, especially with how Nya just found her potential here and there. I understand it’s supposed to come in a moment where you finally come to terms with yourself, but it felt more like it happened because they needed water to defeat the Preeminent. Still, not a big issue, but annoyed me a little.
Additionally, I wish Morro would’ve been saved. I’m all for redemption if done right, and his was done wonderfully. I really miss my boy.
Overall Rating: 8/10. Holds up really well, good plot, better than I remembered honestly. Probably one of my favourites by now.
Ratings for all Ninjago Seasons as I rewatch/first time watch them
Happy 10th anniversary!! Yes, I’m a day late, spare me.
But, I’ve just started rewatching all the ninjago seasons the other week and, now nearing the end of season four, I figured I’d rate how they did.
Season 1: Rise of The Snakes
Tumblr media
This season does NOT get the credit it deserves. Sure, it’s sloppy at times, but they manage to set up our story in 13 episodes, as well as give us some compelling characters. Best character of this season is definitely Kai, I’d say. He faces the most character development and, despite surpassing some of his issues, they come back in the later seasons.
Overall Rating: Solid 7/10. Could’ve been better, but it’s their first season. They did a good job.
Season 2: Legacy of the Green Ninja
Tumblr media
Hoo BOY. This one’s a trip and a half. This is, I feel, when the show starts to get consequences. It’s not just ninjas that spin around anymore– Now they’re ninjas with trauma! Lloyd faces so much this season [like seriously, cut him some slack], and I feel like he faces the most development. Garmadon is also really well done– Sure, from season 1 we see he doesn’t want to become evil, but I feel it’s genuinely enforced now with how much love he harbors for his family. Also, Zane’s dad!! Yahoo!
Overall Rating: 8/10. A pleasure to rewatch. Loved every minute of it.
Season 3: Rebooted
Tumblr media
God okay. In my entire life I’ve only seen six seasons of Ninjago, and I’m currently working through all of them. But everyone that has heard me ramble about the tiny lego man show knows well enough this season has always been my least favourite. It’s not bad. Quite honestly, the story is good! But with only eight episodes and so much plot, it feels quite rushed. Still, this season has some of the best moments: Pythor’s return, Technology being a menace, Evil Wu, Lloyd mastering more of his powers, THE COSTUMES! Not to mention the ending??? Chills, tears are all over this season, and yet I cannot excuse the fact that it still feels rushed, at least in the first half.
However, upon rewatching it, it’s definitely better than I remembered. Perhaps I just needed to grow up and learn how consequences work and how it all feels. The feeling of there being able to be more if only they had more episodes still exists; But it’s definitely good.
Also, Jay and Cole break my heart. Just kiss already you gays.
Overall Rating: 9/10. The finale upped this one’s score A LOT. And I mean A LOT.
[Will be reblogged with the next seasons as I get through them!]

HELLO I FINISHED S4 [and started 5 but I’m not done] SO HERE’S AN UPDATE
Season 4: The Tournament of Elements
Tumblr media
This season was my favourite as a kid, and is still my favourite as an adult. Everything holds up really well-- It doesn’t feel rushed, nor does it feel forced. I’ll admit I’m not the biggest fan of the Skylor x Kai but-- It was coming, everyone by this point got a girlfriend or a love interest [aside Lloyd, but I don’t think anyone really wants that given how his age works]. Regardless, everything in this season works beautifully. There’s the consequences of Zane’s death and how it affects everyone, Garmadon gets a big role in the show, and it’s all around so good for character development.
There’s no downside to this season. The finale hurts, especially Garmadon’s words. Incredible. Spectacular. Will be rewatching.
[Also, Jay calls Cole ‘Tiger’. I love them.]
Overall Rating: 10/10. Probably the best Ninjago season I’ve seen, and the one that holds up best over the years.
