I just got into this IF and as an avid watcher of Real Things I've heard as a Paramedic, EMT MC was probably thinking about Sameer having an episode...How much will their background matter later on? Any flavour text?

So this ask confused me a bit because I didn't know what you were talking about, but I just went and watched a few episodes and 😂😂😂 (also, understatement of the decade, but my god do we need better - any - health literacy).

Anyway, all of the career backgrounds will have flavour text at different points, but won't have a huge impact on the main story/plot.

actually i think i may be in love with blair. every time we kiss we trans the gender of everyone in a 50 foot radius. i have all the gender, they have none: a perfectly balanced relationship. plus i love chickens and like to read so things will go great. i will love all the children also i’m so ready. nonbinary x nonbinary for the win

What are the philosophical and theological implications of the existence of cambions, nephilims, and the supernatural world in general?

Answering this from the perspective of the average human, it basically adds one more significant thing about the world they've been lied to about. Even if they're religious, what they were taught to believe is drastically different than what's true. So finding out about any of it and having to adjust their worldview is going to be (for many) a pretty difficult thing to deal with.
