🌱 Physician, Heal Thyself! 🌱 Ok, I'm back! So I stated on my personal Facebook page in December that all 2020 Goals would coincide with two objectives: 1. Enhance my professional development and identity 2. Reincorporate balance into my life. This far, I closed down the radio station, Elevations Radio, because it consumed too much of my time. I am revamping that project into something new, look for that announcement real soon! I just got back from a 2 day training which begins my process to become a nationally certified TF-CBT therapist. I want to continue the work of healing our communities from personal and social traumas. Lastly, I am focusing on self-care in order to create balance. So today, I decided to start drinking celery juice in the morning. I have read that it is great for inflammation, clearing toxins, and other healthy things. That jar is almost a full stalk, so I will drink about 8-10 oz a day to make it last. I heard all these complaints about the taste, but it just tastes like celery to me. After closing down the radio station, I had several people ask "What's next?" Well....ME! I started today, on my birthday, with spending time LOVING ON ME! I'm officially denouncing "GRIND CULTURE" and pushing Balance to achieve Success! For this special day, I started out with breakfast at Bob Evans, (then i had to visit the fam at the E-check and BMV) then on to get a pedicure with 2 margaritas, please! "Potential Will Produce!" . In relationships, one major line of thinking that becomes a trap for abusive relationships is focusing on the person's potential. You may see a good quality in a person and believe that they have potential to become what you see for them. But a person who has potential will produce something from that potential. They may not be able to produce to the full potential, but you will see some fruit in the direction of what you see.
