Hypersexual!soap who forces himself to fit into the role people make for him vs reader who sees through his act.

Its not that soap isnt a horny mutt, its just that partners tend to expect thats all he be. Even when he was having a shitty day. It was never said aloud but the implication was always there, in the silence between words.

So when soap gets back late from an op, a horrible thing that left his hands shaking, all soap wants was to cuddle up in your arms and sleep for a week. He knows thats not what he'll do, though.

Soap crawls into bed next you, soaks in the feeling of your bodies draped together, skin pressed to skin simply because it's there. He tries not to think of it as his hand wanders lower. He knows exactly what you like and hes a great actor.

Dread curls in his stomach when you catch his wrist, stopping its descent. "Johnny, what's wrong?"

Because of course, you can sense when hes off. No one else has been able to, or maybe they didnt care that much, but you do. Soap clears his throat, shrugs against your back "what? Can't a man want some stress relief?"

You only tisk at him, turning over. Soap looks away, he doesnt want you to see whatever is going on inside him. You see it either way. "Thats not the issue and you know it, Johnny." A long pause, studying him. Somehow, you always know what hes thinking. "I think...I just want to cuddle tonight."

You dont make him admit it, because thats not what he needs on top of the op. Instead, you tuck your head under his chin and wrap him up in a bear hug. In the morning hes sure youll insist on a long conversation over breakfast.

Lashes just a bit wet, soap finds that he doesnt dread that conversation. That vulnerability. Not when its with you.

i wonder why it is so hard to find this performance in full and I wonder why the Grammy's website scrubbed it completely clean from their website. i wonder why finding a performance made by the most popular rapper of this decade on black liberation is hard to find.
