Can I tell you a quick story about FAITH and speaking things into existence... SWIPE👈🏾 for the story visuals and a quick video of @ava speaking on the panel. —BACK TO THE STORY— I wanted to get some of my iDIRECT shirts into the hands of #avaduvernay. As soon as I found out that she was attending the LA #producedby 2019 conference, I made it my mission to get there. I had attended in 2012 while I was getting my Masters at @fullsail University and got the chance to meet #billlawrence #nigellythgoe #shondarhimes and #sallyannsalsano. So I robbed Peter to pay Paul, borrowed from John and begged Joe (It happens when you are “in between projects”)... to attend the 11th Annual Produced BY conference given by the @producersguild 💥 So things were in motion and I was ready... Long story short...I packed 3 iDIRECT shirts and prayed ... I spoke to a few people and the next thing I know is Ava and the entire panel are walking in my direction and 🤜🏾💥BAM💥🤛🏾 in my head I had a great speech and my selfie stick was ready, but out of my mouth came a reserved, “Thank you for all you have done and are doing and I’d like to bless you with a gift.” She thanked me and as quick as she was there she was wisked away... I was FOCUSED and PREPARED and when the opportunity presented itself 🤜🏾💥🤛🏾 I was able to achieve SUCCESS... ✅ I achieved my goal and so much more...
