Hello, I really like your blog and your little fanfictions, Ruby/Sapphire/Pearl is my favorite ship May I ask something cute and fluff for Pearl/Sapphire

Thank you I'm glad you enjoy my post here's your story I hope you like it sorry it took so long.

Pearl was a nervous person, but when she was with Sapphire and Ruby she felt calm, and safe. Ruby was gone at the moment but Sapphire was still here asleep. Pearl felt Guilty watching her sleep but Pearl was lonely and watching Sapphire chest rise and fall made her feel safe. She flinches as an amused laugh wash over her looking up Sapphire is watching her with sleepy eyes her voice is quite, and made Pearl feel warm.

" Watching me sleep again don't you have something better to do with your time."

" No."

Pearl is embarrassed to admit that she really doesn't have anything to do right now it's night time. Pearl should be asleep or doing something productive instead all she can do is watch Sapphire sleep. Nightmares had woken Pearl and she didn't feel safe right now. Sapphire hand brushes Pearl shoulder gently her voice is gentle.

" Another nightmare."

Pearl doesn't respond at first not knowing how too Sapphire takes the initiative sitting up Sapphire continues her voice is tired.

" About the war."

Pearl is quite insecure as she whispers.

"No."

"Rose."

" No."

" What could you possibly be …. come here you silly thing."

 

Pearl study's Sapphire who has arms out waiting Pearl moves into them feeling Sapphire hug her. 

" Let me take you had another nightmare about something happening to me, and Ruby right."

" Yes."

Sapphire sigh is tired but steadfast and in a way it made Pearl feel sleepy and relaxed.

Leaning into Pearl place her on her shoulder only to feel her running her hand through her hair. 

" Go to sleep your safe with me we'll talk more in the morning."

Pearl doesn't mean to fall asleep as Sapphire begins to hum Pearl's last memory is of Sapphire's voice and the smell so distinctively Sapphire who smells of ice of the cold of the tundra but Pearl  likes the cold it meant she was with Sapphire.

Pearl: Garnet I love you to the moon, and back.

Garnet: I love you until it ends, and beyond. Pearl are you ok.

Pearl crying: yes!

Rose: Who wants to volunteer for the mission .

Pearl slowly rase hand only to be knocked over by Ruby, and Sapphire screaming. nnnnnnooooo!

Ruby: I'm not lost I've misplaced myself is all.

Pearl: isn't that the definition of being lost.

Ruby: no.

Ruby: so I realized something today.

Sapphire: what.

Ruby: did you know that glue melts when it's introduced to fire.

Sapphire:.......... I'm not asking but what did you do.

Ruby: stuff.

Sapphire: Ruby tell me what you've done.

Ruby: thing's involveing fire and stuff!

Sapphire: What does that even mean!

Sapphire: Ruby dear do you like it when Pearl stands dramatically in the wind holding her sword.

Ruby: why.

Sapphire: your setting the ground around you on fire.

Ruby: like your any better.

Sapphire: we're not talking about me we're talking about you!

Pearl from said cliff: I am not being overdramatic Amethyst, and no I'm not doing it to get Ruby and Sapphire attention!

Ruby : there fighting again after you.

Sapphire: after you.

Ruby: oh we're on a mission to save the light!

Pearl: could you please not scream at the side of my head.

Sapphire: Pearl we're on an adventure to the save the light!

Pearl: stop screaming so loud your making my head hurt.

Ruby Sapphire: we love you Pearl!

Ruby: bet you didn't mind that did you.

Pearl blushing: oh be quiet.

Pearl: Sometimes you make me feel so alone when I'm with you Garnet. Sometimes you get so caught up in being you that you forget I'm here. Garnet you never seem to need me to be happy like I need you. I want you to be happy so I'll be quiet I'll be good, but I had to say it out loud this one time I had to say something because it hurts not too do you understand say something if you understand.

Garnet: huh sorry I wasn't paying attention what did you say.

Pearl: nothing.

Garnet: ???

Pearl: Sapphire did you know they made something even stronger than coffee?

Sapphire: no.

Pearl: do you think.

Sapphire: no.

Pearl: I didn't say.

Pearl: your no fun.

Sapphire: don't get me started on what would have happened if you had gotten ahold of any of that stuff.

Pearl: fun stuff?

Hey I'm sorry it took so long to get this done I hope you enjoy It's little short.

Ruby loved Pearl. Pearl loved Ruby. It was so simple a thing, but it brought them so much happiness. When they were together very little could separate them. They were content sitting next to each other holding hands. Sapphire was missing but that was okay. She'll be back soon right at the moment though they were content. Watching the world around them they are at peace, or as close to it as they can get. They talk pressed close the air between them is warm. Ruby voice is happy as she speaks love in every word.

" You remember don't you Pearly."  

Was said often, and Pearl would shake her head up and down and whisper back.

" Yes I remember." 

" Do you remember the first time you said you loved me." 

" Yes."

Pearl voice is quite shy.

" Do you want remember it our shall I."

" You your better at it."

" It started like any other day." 

Pearl giggles covering her face with her hands trying not to laugh as Ruby throws both arms out dramatically. 

" We were sitting in my tent we were waiting for Sapphire to come back from talking with Rose when you delcread your undying love for me there was even a bard playing a lute."

" That is not how it happened Ruby, and you know it."

" Yeah I know you were so shy. You talked about the weather for an hour before you finally blurted out the cutest little I love you I had ever heard." 

" I screamed it Ruby I screamed I think I love you."

" I know it was awesome you screamed it at me. Than you Jerked to your feet and hid from me for a week. I finally found you sobbing to Rose about how you had ruined everything."

" I wasn't sobbing that hard." 

" Sure."

" I wasn't."

" Yes you were you were hysterical You thought I hated you."

" I didn't I was."

" Hysterical because you thought I hated you."

" Maybe."

" Still think I hate you."

" Never." 

" You remember when you told me you loved me Ruby." 

" Nope."

Pearl snickers evilly a mischievous smile on her face.  

" It was a day like any other when you decide to throw a chunk of dirt at me sweating like you had run a marathon, and yelled your adequate."

" It wasn't that bad."

" I found you crying to Sapphire about it."

" That was one time and those were flowers I didn't throw a clump of dirt at you it was flowers." 

" Stars above it was so awkward after we couldn't look each other in the eye after for weeks we were so shy." 

" You couldn't I could I was writing poetry about your eyes." 

They sigh as they remember the good, and the bad holding hands they look at each other.

" Do you remember the first time we held hands Pearl." Ruby says.

" No overdramatic story this time." 

" No overdramatic story this time." 

Pearl lays her head on Ruby's shoulder her eyes closed.

" We had just come back from a mission and we were pretty banged up. Sapphire had fallen asleep on me and you had stayed to keep me company." 

" I remember." 

" You were so shy.

" So were you." 

" I was not I was bold and precise."

" Sure."

" You don't believe me."

" I was there Ruby I remember what happened." 

" Well if you remember it so well you tell me what happened." 

" You were getting tired of lying still so long you were starting to fidget around." 

" So I grabbed your hand and held it, And we talked until Sapphire woke up."

" Your hand was sweating and the air smelled of war."

Ruby voice is quiet contemplative tired her voice continues.

" You could've left but you didn't Why?"

" Because I was starting to."

Ruby's smile is breathtaking 

In intensity. Pearl giggles as Ruby arms wrap around her neck kissing her on the side of the face. Pearl squeaks out embarrassed.

" Love me you were starting to love me." 

" Yes I was starting to love you, and Sapphire. I loved you both  you were so sweet to me I didn't think I could take it half the time I wasn't used to someone being so kind to me."

Pearl wraps her arms around Ruby's neck quiet.

" Do you remember the first time we trained together?"

" How could I forget you threw me."

" In my defense that was an accident you scared me jumping off a Pillar like that screaming." 

" I was trying to teach you something, but instead I get thrown for my trouble." 

" That is not what I want you to remember Ruby! How can you not remember what happened I threw you in the air and we nearly."

" Oh yeah and we nearly fused I remember now I land on you." 

" Like a cat you nearly skinned me alive all nails if I remember correctly"

"Yeah I took of my boots off so I'd be quiet."

" We nearly fused we were so upset I thought Rose would hate me, and you thought Sapphire would hate you it all worked out didn't it."

" Yeah I guess."

" It took a long time but it all worked out." 

Sapphire knew as soon as she saw me. I was nearly hysterical my mind gone beyond all rational thought. She calmed me down it was hours before I could speak. I think she knew more than she let on.

"Yeah I think so too."

Do you remember was said often that night. Talking way into the night they told so many stories. Until the party was over when everyone was asleep they began to whisper. Sapphire shows up head peeking over the roof looking amused joining them. She listens to them talk the world is at peace at least for now, and wasn't that beautiful.

Pearl: Garnet I think your cat hates me.

Garnet: Why.

Pearl has Garnet cat attached to the back of her head hissing: a feeling I guess.

Sapphire: Ruby Pearl your so spontaneous your both messing up my future vision.

Ruby is sitting on the kitchen table eating cereal with a fork Pearl is reading next to her the book is upside down: huh?

Sapphire before she meets Ruby and Pearl: I'm not a spontaneous gem I plan everything, and I like it that way my life holds no surprise that I'm not aware of.

Sapphire after meeting them:

My life is nothing but spontaneous series of events I can't control and I guess I'm fine with that.

Ruby runs past holding a stick screaming at the top of her voice freedom followed by Pearl who is carrying a sword laughing with a flag attached to it.

Sapphire: Well I wasn't expecting that at all.
