Day 12 & 13 - Band & Family Portrait

used the instruments i saw in roots (tuba, clarinet, violin and tambourine). that about it.

Day 11 - Bookshelf

boekenplank is dutch for bookshelf. this track uses an unused guitar tracking i made half a year ago. this i think would be the pause theme, or maybe an introduction cutscene track for something idk.

merged the two together because thematically they are similar and can happen around the same time

Day 8: Grandfather Clock

composed at 60bpm, aka 1 beat 1 second. tried to lean into the metronome sound, which caused an 8 note scale, which sounds unsettling but still not bad.

Day 7 - Fireplace

this was meant to be day 6, but given i used an acoustic guitar loop (they sound better) it didn't match the tarot vibe.

vuur literally means fire. that's it. this is the... living room theme ig??? is there a living room?

Day 6/16 - Tarot / Samuel & Ida's Room

room theme for samuel and ida's room. i leaned more into the tarot vibe, which was meant to be more spanish-inspired but ended up something i can't really assign to any style.

Waarzeggerij means divination, fortune telling or augury.

Day 5 - Fishing

very obvious referencing ahead. this song will play when fishing, and fishing causes you to see the future [kinda]. it links to the mystic aspects of the lake more lmao.

Day 3 & 4 [October 3-4] - Family Pets and Graveyard

i'm pretty sure i inputted sorrow into the translator but translating Verdriet back just gives 'sadness'. this track would be played in the graveyard [duh].

fun fact: 'hond' was the original name, but felt limiting for the purposes of the track.

Day 2 [October 2] - Flowers

Tulp is dutch for tulip, which the netherlands exports an inordinate percentage of the worldwide market. i originally planned for this to reference my ub fansong but i decided against it and made it it's own piece. the piece would be played at the entrance and the garden at the back.

Geschiedenis, Dutch for history, is my entry for prompt 1, which is family tree. it's a short piece but that's the thing with videogame soundtracks sometimes.
