Henry is the satellite scientist who first realizes he’s alive and ends up messaging with him while following his movements and schedules via satellite. H falls in love with A but A is ostensibly straight. A makes it back to earth and H can see the cracks that A tries to cover, they hang out because H is a safe person in a press world, A falls in love too.

Nora giving out super accurate probabilities is a trope. In this story, Nora has the power of prophecy but the curse that no one will believe her prophecies, like Cassandra. She learns statistics to thwart the curse. Some things she actually predicts using data she knows but other times she is just delivering a prophecy from the universe while trying to not freak people out. Her love interest is the only one who actually sees that she’s cursed.

The uk/royal family is able to secure Henry’s release but the US is less able to negotiate (“does not negotiate with terrorists”)

So h&a have to deal with being separated, one now free and one still captive.
