I had such a blast with my last #dtiys challenge that I made a sequel! Introducing Yu Ming, the twin sister of my moon character, who is bringing some sunshine to your short winter days. She's showing off her elegant outfit and golden crown. Plenty of time to enter and prizes to win!

A big thank you for following my art, I'm so honoured to have 4k followers across platforms! I've learned so much as an artist this year and can't wait to share more of Spellbound with you in 2025. More cobblestones! Another Spellbound novel location - this time it's Agathism Academy, the magic school where most of the story takes place ✨ Edinburgh Castle was a major influence, but I looked at a lot of German castles too ❤️.

I wanted the clouds & waves to have a lot of movement to contrast the rigid structure. I promise I'll draw the characters one day too, not just the locations 😂

Many mornings spent painting cobblestones! Here's the first official illustration for chapter 1 of Spellbound ✨ The opening scene takes place in a flower shop called House of Bloom, located the quiet town Brinehill. On a regular work day Amelia witnesses something unexpected... 👀

It's nice to be able to sit on the couch late at night and doodle shapes on my iPad. I had fun sketching these folks during a life drawing stream. Most of the time I want to make really polished pieces, so I'm trying to take the pressure off😤

Mysterious Kaito for Yasmine Pirouz, a character from her comic 'Torus Link'. We have an annual art trade tradition 🌿

I wanted to include lots of references: • Architecture from her story locations • Plants / colours / symbols connected to his earth powers • Outfit which reflects his mixed heritage • A frame to represent the pressure he feels from society ('trapped' by external expectations)

Spent ages picking the right colours, but pleased with how this turned out in the end 💚

Having the best time re-watching Queer as Folk USA (2000) in the evenings, so here are some face studies! Would love to do more, so many of the characters to pick from ✨

I watched this show when I was 16 for the first time and I remember it really inspired me to pursue my art dreams... I was in high school deciding whether or not to go for it, so seeing a main character my age follow his passion for drawing, fight pain in his wrist, make comics and tell stories was so inspiring...
