I always wanted to do a Fossil Fakemon. So I started brainstorming of what prehistoric animals to be based on.

Nipnapsid: a Rock/Dark type Pokémon who tend to have a habit of biting everything it hates. When this little bone-head was brought back to life with the Fang Fossil, it constantly nips at numerous of scientists’ heels and legs. The professor will warn trainers to be careful about this feisty Pokémon, but believes that it will be great for any battle of what comes their way. (The name is heavily inspired by Synapsids, an ancient group of stem mammals from the Permian period. Also what inspired the design is a smaller Dicynodont.)

Denetrodon: the second and final evolution of Nipnapsid. This Rock/Dark type Pokémon is the most ancient of them all. It’s unknown what its sail is used for, however the long saber teeth define itself as the ultimate chomper. (The name is a play on words with Dimetrodon: the most notable synapsid in the Permian era with “Dente” meaning tooth in Portuguese language.)

Did a fakemon based by 🐒❄️

Muffoset- an ice type Pokémon that lives in the snowy trees and enjoys drinking tree sap. Their design is based off of Marmosets and winter ear muffs.

Chillpuchin- a mischievous ice type Pokémon that has a habit of throwing chunks of snowballs for their own amusement. Their design is based on a Capuchin Monkey wearing a Chullo hat.

Samuicaque- an Ice/Normal type Pokémon that has a very thick layer of coat to keep them warm. They also tend to go on hot springs from the snowy mountains. Their design is based on a Japanese Macaque with the name Samui meaning cold weather in Japanese.
