My personal fave from the ECTOPLASM collection (along with some of the shots that inspired it), when resting it represents a medium’s table with ectoplasm rising off of it.

The piece can be worn numerous ways - as a pendant, the cord (which is inspired by the rope seen in the photographs) can be looped through the table or the ectoplasm in any number of combinations, and as a ring the table is lifted (by spirits, of course) off your hand.

Ruby ambrotype in different lighting. Ambrotypes are one-of-a-kind photographs printed directly on glass, in a wet-plate process. They will either appear as a positive or a negative, depending on what is behind them (if you hold it up to light, it becomes a negative). They weren't in fashion for very long (only the 1850's) because shortly after their introduction the tintype came along - which is almost indistinguishable from an ambrotype when properly displayed behind glass.

Today Nathan (@thecemeterygates on insta) and I (@saltcircle on insta) went to a little pioneer cemetery in WA. These two were my favorite, I’m always inspired by the ones with multiple fonts. The first says “my flesh and my heart faileth”, which caught me as well.
