i will never be a mary winchester hater. amara plucked her out of a time when her sons were 4 and 6-months-old. obviously she isn’t going to know how to act around her sons that are OLDER than her. while i feel bad for dean having to raise sam, it was unfair to put that trauma on the mary amara brought back. people need to put down the pitchforks when it comes to mary and raise them towards john.
