Sarcastic Stiles
Pairing: Stiles x fem!reader
Genre: Fluff, Slight Angst
Characters: Stiles, Y/N, Scott, Derek
Description: As usual, Stiles gets the both of you into trouble when his sarcasm begins to play a part in a dangerous situation.
You could hear your heart beating in your ears from the speed you were running. Looking back, you noticed that there was no one behind you and stopped, leaning on your knees to catch your breath. “I’m gonna kill Stiles.” Running footsteps sounded behind you and you glanced back, feelings of both relief and frustration washing over you as Stiles emerged from the corner.
He ran up to you and gathered you in a hug before dramatically leaning against the wall to catch his breath. “What?” Raising your eyebrows, you rested your hands on your hips. “You know exactly what! Did you really have to throw your bat at them?! We were supposed to be doing recon, not angering the bad guys!”
Stiles shrugged his shoulders before leaning up straight against the wall. “They were plotting something, something that I assume wasn’t good; and I needed to do something.” You rolled your eyes and shook your head at your boyfriends idiotic actions. Looking up, fear panged in your chest as you noticed one of the guys heading straight towards the two of you. Walking back, you grabbed Stiles’ hand, which also alerted him to the situation. You both quickly turned and ran the other way before another guy headed towards you. You were cornered in the back streets of Beacon Hills.
Stiles turned his back to the wall and tucked you behind him protectively. With his body shielding you, you were able to hit the speed dial on your phone to call Scott. “Hey guys, how’s it goin’?” The two guys looked at each other and laughed. “Why don’t you tell us, smart guy? Since you and your little girlfriend were spying on us.” One of the guys made eye contact with you but Stiles moved so the guys’ sight was only on him. “All I know is that you were planning something bad and we decided to stop you. Y’know, before you ended up tearing apart the town we call home?”
A feeling of relief washed over you as you heard Scott answer the phone. “Y/N? What’s going on?” When you didn’t answer, you could tell that Scott knew that your plan had gone a little sideways. He whispered into the phone that he was gonna use the GPS on your phone to find the both of you and hung up. Throughout the phone call, you realised you missed the other guys telling all about their genius plan. Your heart dropped, though, when Stiles answered them. “Seriously, it took you about 10 minutes to tell us that? I’ve aged, like, 80 years since talking to you.” You knew that his mouth would get you in trouble one day, and it seemed like that day was today.
One of the men lunged forward and grabbed you from behind Stiles and held you tight to his body. A wave of nausea washed over you as you felt the mans breath on the back of your neck. “Now why would you bring such a beautiful girl like her to a horrible place like this? It’s like you’re asking for her to be taken.” The man’s breath fanned over the side of your face as he leaned down and ghosted kisses on your cheek. Tears fell down your cheeks as you struggled against him, but he strengthened his grip. Stiles lunged forward but was grabbed by the other man. “Get off her! Y/N, baby, look at me, everything’s going to be alright. I’m so sorry I got you into this.” The man holding you grabbed rope from his pocket and bound your hands behind you before tightly tying a gag around your mouth; with the other man doing the same with Stiles.
You began to fight back as the men began leading you both to the end of the alley where a van was waiting. “Stop fighting!” He slapped you across your face, leaving you dazed. Stiles shouted through his gag but it was no use. The man slung you over his shoulder and rushed towards the van, throwing you inside causing your body to fall hard. Just as the other man was about to throw Stiles in, a loud growl sounded from down the alley, followed by a harrowing sight of blood red eyes. “Fuck, he’s here.” The man holding Stiles pulled out a gun and held it to his head. “You come any closer McCall and we’ll blow his brains out.” Scott’s eyes turned back to normal and emerged out of the shadows with his hands held in surrender, but with a smirk on his face. Another growl sounded from on top of the van. The man turned with Stiles and was faced with Derek, who leapt at the man, causing him to let go if Stiles. Stiles ran to you inside the van to wordlessly make sure you were ok as Scott began to attack the other man.
You both sat inside the van listening to the attack going on outside and breathed a sigh of relief when the attack stopped and the men ran away. The two werewolves jumped into the van and untied you both. Stiles gathered you in his arms and placed a kiss to the top of your head. “I’m so sorry, baby.” “What the hell happened guys?” You raised your eyebrows at Scott. “I’ll give you one guess.” Scott gave you a knowing look. “Stiles and his big mouth again.” He shook his head and helped you both out of the van with Derek coming out last.
Stiles held your hand as you both walked back to Derek’s car. “I swear I will never be sarcastic in a situation like that again, especially if you’re with me. I never want to put you in that situation again.” You nodded and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Let’s just get home and forget this ever happened.” He smiled in response as you both gathered in the back of Derek’s car, relieved that the situation was over.

"I Love You"
Pairing: Derek Hale x fem!reader
Genre: Angst, Fluff
Characters: Derek, Y/N
Description: Derek and Y/N are having a fight about how careless he has been lately. This fight leads to Y/N threatening to leave and Derek admitting his feelings.
You sat on the sofa across from Derek, your elbows resting on your knees and pinching your nose with frustration. Not two minutes earlier, he burst through the door covered in blood with cuts and scrapes all over; now he looked like nothing had happened, other than the blood stains on his clothes.
"Derek, we've talked about this. You need to be more careful. You could have gotten seriously hurt, or maybe more. You need to stop taking risks like this." Derek huffed from across the room, causing you to look up and lock eyes with him. "What?! Am I not allowed to worry about my boyfriend's safety?" He rolled his eyes. "Not when he's a werewolf, no! You know I can take care of myself. Tonight, I was protecting someone. Another werewolf who has recently changed. They needed help! What was I supposed to do?" You stormed over and stood toe to toe. Even though Derek towered over you, you didn't back down. "I'm not saying don't help them, I'm saying be more careful about it. I worry about you being out there. I know you can protect yourself, but you have a big target on your back Derek and I'd like you to come home to me."
He narrowed his eyes at you. He opened his mouth to speak, but you didn't give him a chance. You just turned and shook your head. You knew he wouldn't listen. "I can't cope with the constant anxiety that you won't come home to me. I'm packing a bag and I'm going to my parents. Give you some space to figure out what you wanna do." As soon as you took a step, Derek gently grabbed your arm and turned you, fear evident in his eyes. "Please, please don't do that. There is nothing that I want less than being without you. I'm sorry." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "I love you." Your eyes widened. You hadn't realised how strongly he felt about you. "What did you say?" A smile spread across his features as his hand found your hips. "I love you." Your hands wound around his neck and you pulled his head towards yours, resting your foreheads together. "Then prove it. Be more careful out there. Don't go out unless you have to. I want you to come home because I love you too." As you both stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, a sense of relief washed over you. The tension that had threatened to tear you apart began to dissolve, replaced by a renewed understanding of each other's fears and desires. In that moment, you realized that love was not just about passion, but about being willing to change and grow for the sake of the one you cherish.
Derek pulled away and pressed a kiss to your lips, one that was full of love and promise. He tucked a stray hair behind your ear and looked you softly in the eyes. "I promise you, baby, I'll be more careful. Whatever it takes to keep you here with me." His voice was low and sincere, and you knew he meant every word he spoke. You felt your heart swell with emotion. You pulled him in for a deeper kiss. You both knew you were in this together.

Hunted
Pairing: Jack x fem!reader
Genre: Angst, Fluff
Characters: Jack, Y/N, Sam, Dean, Cas
Description: (set in Season 14) Jack is being hunted down by the angels and has to stay in lockdown at the bunker. Not being happy with this, Jack sneaks out whilst the others are on a hunt and is grabbed by the angels.
Jack has had a target on his back from the minute he was born. If it wasn't his father trying to get to him, it was the other angels hunting him down. He felt hopeless and trapped. He thought he could live his life the way you, Castiel and the Winchesters taught him. Instead, he had to stay holed up in the bunker for his safety and he was getting bored and frustrated.
"You guys do realize I can take care of myself, right? I'm the most powerful being on the planet." You paused packing your duffel to turn to him, an eyebrow raised and a smirk forming on your lips. "Someone's feeling cocky today, I see." You sighed and walked towards him, sitting beside him on the bed. "You know why you can't go out there, Jack. We know how powerful you are, but the angels are powerful too, and there's more of them. We just don't want you getting hurt. We want you to stay here where it's safe. I want you to stay here." Jack lifted your head to meet his, curling his fingers under your chin. "I love how much you all care about me, especially you my love." You smiled at his pet nickname and pecked his lips before continuing packing.
"Right, we'll be back in a day, two max, are you sure you'll be alright here by yourself?" Cas glanced over at Jack with a worried expression. He wanted to take him with you all on the hunt to keep an eye on him. However, you all agreed that the bunker was the safest place for him. Jack smiled and nodded. "Don't worry, Cas. I'll be alright. Besides, I can always call you if I need you." You placed a comforting hand on Cas's shoulder before walking towards Jack, placing your hands softly on his shoulders. Jack smiled down at you, adoration and love in his eyes. "Please be careful, my love." "Don't worry, I have the boys to keep me safe. Are you sure that you don't want Cas to stay behind with you? I hate the thought of you being here alone." Jack kissed the top of your head and nodded. "I'll be fine, don't worry." You hesitantly nodded and grabbed your duffel before heading towards the garage, taking one last look at Jack before leaving. Jack waited until he heard the Impala rumble in the distance before grabbing his jacket and heading out the door.
As Jack stepped out into the world, he couldn't shake the warnings from his mind. The angels were relentless and wouldn't hesitate to track him down if they sensed his presence. Moreover, demons had always shown an interest in his power, eager to manipulate him for their sinister purposes. Despite his confidence, Jack knew he had to be vigilant and cautious if he hoped to avoid these lurking threats. Since his father was locked away, the greater threat was the angels. Nevertheless, he couldn't let the threat of them stop him from living his life. He wanted to explore the outside world at his own pace, something that he hadn't been able to do yet with the ongoing adventures that you all had been on. Jack decided to keep his movements subtle, using shadows and sticking to less travelled paths to minimize his presence. He also relied on his innate ability to mask his energy, a skill he'd practised to perfection. This made it more difficult for angels to pinpoint his location. However, his efforts weren't nearly enough as Jack found himself down an alleyway surrounded by a group of angels.
As he stood there, Jack's heart raced, but he forced himself to remain calm. He recalled everything he'd learned from his friends about handling dangerous encounters. His mind raced with potential strategies, weighing the risks of confrontation against escape. Despite fear gripping him, Jack felt a spark of resolve; he was determined to protect himself, no matter what. He took a defensive stance, pulling out the angel blade from his sleeve. He lunged towards the angels facing him but they were too quick and jumped back. The angels at the back of Jack quickly grabbed him, causing his blade to clatter to the floor. He narrowed his eyes as the angel leader stepped out of the shadows, chuckling darkly. "Hello, Jack. I'm so glad we finally met. I've been looking forward to this since you were born." He stepped closer to Jack, but Jack didn't flinch. Instead, he looked the angel straight in the eye to show him that he wasn't scared. "Well, I have to say that this meeting isn't really up to my expectations. Is this what you do with everyone you come into contact with? Ambush them in a dark alley? Doesn't really give off the best first impression." The angel cackled. "No. But I do it to the ones I want something from." Jack felt anxiety, but he didn't let it show. "What do you want from me?" The angel leaned in closer with a sinister smirk. "I want your grace, Jack. I want to make the most powerful angels, and what better than with the grace of a Nephilim?" And with a click of his fingers, the other angels knocked Jack out and bustled him into the back of a van.
You had a strange feeling since leaving the bunker that something had happened. You trusted Jack with everything, but you knew his curiosity would get the better of him. Pulling your phone out, you pulled up his contact and dialled the number. Castiel could sense the change in your mood when Jack didn't pick up the phone. He placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. "I'm sure he's alright, Y/N. He's probably busy playing a video game or something." You nodded and took a deep breath to calm your nerves but the nagging feeling wasn't going away. "Dean, we need to turn back. There's something wrong, I can feel it." He looked at you through the driver's mirror and nodded, seeing your frantic expression. "Alright, princess. But if there's nothing wrong, you owe me." You laughed lightly in response, anxiously looking out of the window and trying not to let your thoughts wander.
When you arrived at the bunker, you immediately headed towards his room but there was no sign of him. "Jack, are you here? Please answer me." You waited a few seconds for a response but none came. You ran into the war room with tears streaming down your face. "He's not here. Something has happened. We need to find him." Sam gathers you in his arms, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. "Don't worry, we'll find him." Sam takes you into the kitchen whilst Dean and Cas work on locating Jack. Cas collected some of his belongings and began searching for a location.
Jack awoke in a darkened room. He could feel someone's presence in the room. He slowly opened his eyes and saw an angel standing on the other side. The angel walked closer and Jack tried to escape. He struggled against the bonds that held his arms and feet in place on the chair. The angel loomed over Jack, settling an unpleasant feeling in his stomach. Fear and confusion gripped him as he tried to comprehend why he was being held captive. His heart raced, and his mind was a whirlwind of questions without answers. Despite the uncertainty, a spark of defiance flickered within him, determined not to give in to despair. "Get away from me. Right. Now." He powered up and his eyes began to glow. However, a sharp stabbing pushed its way through Jack's veins, causing him to cry out in pain. The angel cackled darkly. "These bonds were made specially for you and your power. The more power you try and use, the more it will hurt you." He leaned in closer to Jack's face. "Now, how about I tell you why you're here?" Jack groaned from the throbbing. "That would be a start." The angel stepped back and folded his hands across his chest. "I should have known you had a smart mouth, considering you live with the Winchesters and their pets. The girl is rather delicious, don't you think?" "Don't talk about her like that." "I knew that would hit a nerve." The angel circled Jack. "I've brought you here to give us your grace to make new angels. Now, I can take it willingly, or forcefully, your choice." Jack glared at the angel. "I'm not giving it to you." The angel sighed. "Then I'll have to take it from you." He clicked his fingers and a tray of instruments appeared in front of you, including a needle and a tube to drain him of his blood. "If you hurt me, Y/N's going to wish you'd never been created!" The angel laughed in his face, holding his arm down as he thrust the needle into his skin.
"I've found him. He's near, in an abandoned building just out of town." You breathed a sigh of relief but a new wave of anxiety passed through you. "What if we're too late? I never got to say I love him, he doesn't know!" This time, Dean comforted you. "When we find him, you can tell him that. He's a strong boy. There's no way he'll go without a fight. He lives with us." He winked at you, causing a small giggle to escape from you. Once you had the coordinates, you all gathered in the Impala and sped off towards the building.
Jack screamed as the angel cut into his skin. "The more you bleed, the more grace we'll have. I told you I'd take it from you." He placed small tubes under the cuts so that the blood could collect. Jack's face was filled with pain as the angel continued to work. He watched as the angel collected the blood in a vial. Once the vial was full, the angel left, leaving Jack alone in the room. Tears fell down his cheeks. He wished he had heeded your, Cas and the boys' warnings. He longed to hear your voice and feel your touch. Just as he was about to fall asleep, a loud crash down the corridor woke him up. "Where is he?!" His heart skipped a beat when he realised who the voice belonged to. "Y/N, I'm in here!" A few seconds later, the door broke down and you appeared in the doorway, anguish and relief evident on her features. You ran towards Jack, kneeling in front of him and cupping his face in your hands. Stray tears fell on his cheeks and you rubbed them away with your thumb. "Everything's alright now, we're here, I'm here." A commotion stirred up outside of the room and you stood up, taking a protective stance. You were relieved, however, when Sam and Dean appeared in the doorway, followed closely by Cas. Cas took away the bonds from Jack's hands and feet whilst the brothers helped him up from the chair. You gathered him in your arms and kissed his cheek. "Please promise me that you'll listen to us when we tell you not to do something." Jack chuckled lightly and nodded. "Trust me, it'll be a while before I go out again." With that promise, you trusted Jack with everything and you all returned to the Impala, happy and safe.

Family Comes First
Requested by Anonymous
Pairing: Daisy Johnson x sibling!fem!reader (platonic)
Genre: Angst, Fluff
Characters: Daisy, Y/N
Description: Lately, Y/N has been feeling pushed out by Daisy; as if she's replacing her with the Shield team. When she brings it up, Daisy reassures her.
Daisy was everything to you. She was the only family that you had ever known and you loved her dearly. She taught you the importance of unconditional love and loyalty, always being by your side no matter the circumstances. Her unwavering support showed you that loving relationships go beyond words and can be felt deep down. She taught you to appreciate the small moments of joy in everyday life through the gentleness of her presence. One of your favorite memories was the time you spent an entire afternoon in the park, just the two of you. While Daisy chased butterflies, her laughter filling the air, you sat on the grass, feeling the warm sun on your skin. That day, you realised how much happiness she brought into your life with her carefree, simple nature.
Daisy was so happy when she joined S.H.I.E.L.D. It was as if she had finally found where she belonged. She was able to work out why she had appeared different throughout her teenage years. You always remember her coming and confiding in you about how she was feeling. Through her work with S.H.I.E.L.D, Daisy embarked on a journey of self-discovery, learning more about her unique abilities and the true extent of her powers. She found a sense of purpose and identity, realizing that her differences were actually strengths that could be used to protect others. This transformative experience allowed her to embrace who she truly was, fostering a newfound confidence and sense of belonging. You had always known that she was special but you weren't quite sure how special. That was until Daisy's power made itself known, and she finally felt complete. You were happy for Daisy, you really were, but a small piece of yourself felt as though you were being pushed out.
You weren't like the rest of the team, you didn't have any special abilities or training, but you were still Daisy's sister and you wanted her to know that you still belonged with her. You didn't harbour any anger or ill feelings towards her. Despite being happy that she had found herself, you were upset that she no longer needed you. It was difficult to watch her grow into her new role, knowing that you couldn't follow her into that world. You often felt like a spectator in her life, cheering from the sidelines while she soared to new heights. Though you cherished your bond and supported her every step of the way, there was a lingering sense of loss, as if a part of your shared journey had come to an end.
After her recent mission, you decided to have a talk with Daisy and voice to her how you were feeling. Taking a deep breath, you headed towards her room where she was lying down on her bed, welcoming you with a warm smile. You sat down beside her, your heart pounding with a mix of apprehension and determination. "Daisy," you began softly, "I'm so proud of everything you've accomplished and the person you've become. But I need you to know that even though your life is changing, I still want to be a part of it." Daisy listened intently, her expression shifting from understanding to empathy, as she reached out to hold your hand reassuringly. She smiled and opened her mouth to reply, but you beat her to it. "I've been feeling a little pushed out lately, as if you no longer need your big sister. I know you've grown and I cannot be more proud of you and what you've accomplished, but I still need my sister." Daisy squeezed your hand gently, her eyes filled with warmth and understanding. "I never meant to make you feel that way," she said softly. "You've always been my anchor, and even though my world is changing, I still need you by my side. Your support and love have been my guiding light, and I can't imagine this journey without you. From now on, I will try and make sure that I include you in everything. If you want, I could try and get you a job here. I know how fantastic you are at technology. The team would welcome you with open arms." She smiled, her eyes full of emotion. "I promise I will always keep you close," she said. "No matter what life throws at us, I will never leave your side." She hugged me tightly and I could feel her warmth. I knew she was right. No matter what, we would stay together.

Headstrong Hunter
Requested by @i0fty with Prompt #7 from my Prompt List: "You could have died!"
Pairing: Castiel x reader
Genre: Angst, Fluff
Characters: Castiel, Y/N
Description: After finding out that the monster that killed their family had come around in a nearby town, Y/N decides to face it head on, and alone.
You stormed out of your room and into the library with Castiel hot on your heels. Sam and Dean jumped back into their chairs as you threw your hands down on the table, an exasperated look on your face. "Can you two please tell him that I've been a hunter my whole life and I can take care of myself?" They both shot their hands in the air and got up from the table. "We're not getting involved in this." Sam sheepishly walked away with Dean scurrying behind. "Nu-uh, don't want to get involved in the relationship crap." You narrowed your eyes as they walked past you, silently cursing them, until an exasperated breath broke you from your thoughts.
"What, Cas? I've told you, I'm going on this hunt and there's nothing you can do to stop me." You turned around and, sure enough, Castiel stood a mere centimetre behind you. "You know I have the power to stop you. With a flick of my wrist, I could send you back to the room and barricade you inside." You narrowed your eyes and smirked evilly. "Yeah, I know, but you won't. You promised me when we started dating that you would never use your powers on me unless I was dying. Besides, I have a personal stake in this hunt; it's connected to the creature that killed my family. I need to see this through, not just for them but for myself too. I can't keep running from my past, and this is my chance to finally face it head-on." Castiel's expression softened, a mix of concern and understanding flickering in his eyes. He let out a resigned sigh, knowing the depth of your determination and the pain driving you. "Alright, but promise me you'll be careful. I can't bear losing you." You nodded, appreciating his concern even as you stood firm in your resolve. Castiel's protectiveness was something you became accustomed to, a testament to his depth of feelings for you. Yet, you understood that love meant allowing each other to fight your own battles, and this was one you needed to face alone. Despite his celestial powers and ancient wisdom, Castiel respected your feelings, knowing that true partnership was built on trust and mutual support.
You began gathering your gear, meticulously checking each piece to ensure top condition. Your weapons were cleaned and loaded, your knife sharpened to a fine edge, and your backpack was filled the tools you needed. With a determined glance at Castiel, you tucked a protective amulet that he gave you into your jacket. This reminded you of his love for you, and acted as a direct line to him when you needed help. You took a deep breath, ready to embark on your journey. You turned and kissed Cas. His eyes pleaded with you not to go alone and your resolve nearly broke. It took all your strength to turn away from him. With a nod of determination, you set off, ready to take on whatever danger lies ahead. As you walked away, a mix of emotions swirled within you—fear, excitement, and a deep sense of purpose. Leaving Castiel behind was not easy, but you knew this was a journey you had to undertake on your own. The thought of confronting the creature that haunted your past filled you with anxiety, yet it also fueled your determination to finally find closure. Throwing your bag into the backseat, you set off with determination to finish off the monster that had plagued you for most of your life. You knew the monster was part of the werewolf family, but nothing more than that. You had to find the answers you needed to put an end to this nightmare. You were determined to put an end to this once and for all.
The road stretched out before you, winding through dense forests and past desolate fields, each mile bringing you closer to the creature's lair. The sky was overcast, casting a grey pallor over the landscape, mirroring your turmoil. As you drove, the haunting memory of the monster played over and over in your mind. The weight of your mission pressed down on you, but the thought of finally ending this chapter of your life kept you focused and resolved. The memory of the encounter with the creature was still vivid in your mind, etched with clarity. You remembered the chilling sound of its growl and the ferocity in its eyes as it lunged at you from the shadows. That night, you barely escaped with your life, but the scars left were more than just physical. It killed your parents right in front of you which left a massive hole in your heart. You missed them dearly, and you wanted to honour them by killing the monster. You were determined to avenge their death, and you set out to hunt the creature down. You were determined to end its reign of terror and to bring justice to your family.
The monster's lair loomed ahead, a dilapidated mansion shrouded in darkness and overgrown with vines. The windows were shattered, and the front door hung ajar, creaking ominously in the wind. The air around it was thick with an eerie silence, broken only by the occasional rustle of leaves, as if the very forest held its breath in anticipation of your arrival. As you approached the mansion, a mix of fear and determination coursed through your veins. Your heart pounded in your chest, each beat echoing the trepidation and courage battling within you. Despite the fear, there was a fierce resolve burning inside, driving you forward with the promise of closure and revenge. Gripping the silver dagger tightly in your hand, you felt its reassuring weight, knowing it was your best defense against the supernatural. In your backpack, a bottle of wolfsbane tincture and a revolver loaded with silver bullets were ready, each item carefully chosen for this mission. You had spent months preparing, studying ancient texts and consulting with experts, ensuring you had every possible advantage against the creature that had taken so much from you. You took a deep breath and stepped through the door.
Inside, the mansion was a haunting tableau of decay and neglect. The grand foyer, once splendid, was now a hollow shell, its marble floors cracked and covered in dust. Tattered remnants of opulent drapes hung limply from shattered windows, and cobwebs draped the corners like ghostly curtains. A grand staircase spiraled upward, its banister broken in several places, leading to shadows that seemed to pulse with the promise of danger. You stopped and listened for any noise but the air was silent. You tiptoed through the mansion, always ready and on-guard for when the monster appeared. You reached a landing at the top of the stairs, and you saw a door that was slightly ajar. You took a deep breath and opened it, slowly and carefully, expecting the worst. As the door creaked open, a wave of anxiety washed over you, tightening your chest and making your breath shallow. Yet, amidst the fear, there was a flicker of hope that this confrontation could finally bring peace to your tormented soul. Your hands trembled slightly, but your grip on the dagger remained firm, a tangible reminder of the strength and courage that had brought you this far. You stepped inside, determined to face whatever lay ahead. As your eyes adjusted to the darkness, you saw a figure standing in the shadows. You held your ground, steeling yourself for what was to come.
"I always knew you would come and find me, Y/N." The figure stepped out of the shadows. It was a tall, imposing figure with eyes that glowed an unnatural shade of amber. The creature's skin was as pale as the moonlight streaming through the broken windows. Its sharp features were accentuated by high cheekbones and an angular jaw. Clad in tattered, dark clothing that blended into the shadows, the figure exuded an aura of menace and ancient power. You stood back slightly, taken aback by the figure's appearance, but soon found your footing again. "How do you know my name?" "I know everything about you". The figure chuckled darkly and a chill ran down your spine; you knew you were in serious trouble. "I've been studying you for some time. It eluded me how you escaped me all those years ago, and so I kept an eye on you until I knew you were ready." Your heart raced, but you steeled yourself and raised the dagger defensively. "I'm definitely ready now. I didn't come here to run." Your voice was strong and unwavering. "Let's end this once and for all." You lunged forward, dagger in hand, determined to put an end to his evil. The figure stepped back, his expression unreadable, and you prepared for the fight of your life. As you lunged again, the figure pushed you down, snatching the dagger from your hand and holding it above your throat, the tip nearly piercing your skin. "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do this, finish off the last remaining person alive that has seen me." Panic surged through your veins, but you forced yourself to focus, searching for any glimmer of an opportunity to turn the tables. Thoughts of loved ones and promises made flashed through your mind, fueling your resolve. You couldn't let it end here; you had to find a way to survive, to fight back, and to prove that you were more than just prey to this creature.
As you prepared to fight back, the room doors burst open to reveal Castiel. "I suggest you get off them before I kill you." The figure looked up and chuckled darkly as he saw Castiel's appearance. "And what is a little man like you planning to do to something like me?" The figure looked down at you and raised the dagger. You had not seen the hunt going this way. You had always been determined to kill the creature; you didn't want to die. Closing your eyes, you readied yourself for the dagger's impact but instead felt the figure's heaviness leave you. You slowly sat up and watched as Castiel held the creature onto the wall with his powers. "That's where you're wrong. I'm not a man, I'm an angel of the Lord." He looked over at you and held his hand out, motioning for you to come over. Grabbing the dagger that the creature dropped you slowly approached them, your heart beating loudly in your ears.
As you entwined your hand with his, you looked up at Cas and he nodded. It was a silent affirmation, a gesture of trust and solidarity in the face of uncertainty. Cas's nod gave you the courage to confront the creature with resolve, knowing you were not alone. This simple act strengthened your bond, reinforcing the unspoken understanding that you were in this together. You then turned to the creature, a wave of feelings flowing through you. "I have spent my entire life studying you and planning how to kill you. You took everything from me, my family, my home and my life. I will not let you take anything else from me." You held the dagger high in the air and buried it in the creature's chest, a horrifying sound escaping from its mouth. Your legs gave way beneath you from the overwhelming event and you cried. The creature crumpled to the floor as Cas let it down and wrapped his arms around you. "Well done, honey, you did it. You got justice for your mom and dad. I'm so proud of you." He kissed the top of your head and pulled you up to standing, turning you to face him. "How did you know where I was, Cas?" He chuckled and took the amulet from your pocket. "You didn't think this was just a beacon for you to use, did you? This tells me where you are when I'm not with you. I followed you here. I was too worried to let you come here alone; and it's a good thing I did. You could have died, angel. Seeing that monster with the dagger at your throat made me feel things I never want to feel again. Please, next time when I say no, listen to me." You nodded and stood on your tiptoes, bringing Cas in for a well-deserved kiss. As your lips touched his, a whirlwind of emotions surged through you—relief, gratitude, and a lingering sadness for what was lost. The weight of years spent in pursuit of vengeance lifted, leaving behind a profound sense of peace. Yet amid the calm, a small voice inside reminded you that healing would take time, but with Cas by your side, you felt ready to face it.

Too Much
Requested by Anonymous
Prompt: #39 from my Prompt List: "I'm not a human, I never was. So why are you expecting me to act like one?"
Pairing: Castiel x Winchester!reader
Genre: Angst, Slight Fluff
Characters: Castiel, Y/N, Dean, Sam
Description: Lately, Castiel hasn't paid much attention to Y/N, leaving them feeling lonely and confused. When they confront him about it, they don't get the reaction they were expecting.
From the moment you first saw Castiel, you knew you would fall hard. However, being the sister of Sam and Dean Winchester made it ten times harder than it should have been. Dean was always very overprotective when it came to you and was not very happy when you confessed your unique and deep feelings for Cas to him.
"That's not a good idea," Dean warned. But you stood your ground. "Cas isn't like the others. He chose us over his own family. That's not the action of an emotionless being!" Dean, defeated, pulled you into a hug. "I'm happy for you, but please, be careful. I don't want to see you hurt."
Sam, always the voice of reason, had a different perspective on your feelings for Castiel. 'I thought angels couldn't be with humans. How would it even work? Can they start families? Do they even understand human emotions?' Sam pondered these questions while you stood in the doorway, rolling your eyes. 'I've never read anything that says angels can't be in a relationship with a human. And I believe that Castiel and I can figure it out.' Your determination shone through your words. Sam smiled and nodded. 'Thanks for sharing, Y/N. I'm sure it'll all work out.'
After dealing with your brothers, you weren't sure that Cas could feel the same about you, whether he would even understand what they would mean. After spending hours trying to figure it out, you decided to just go ahead and tell him. He was sitting in the library, looking through lore books, when he looked up and smiled widely at your sudden presence. "Hello, Y/N." You smiled back at Cas, his smile always infectious. "Hey, Cas." You sat opposite him, twiddling your thumbs in your lap. He tilted his head with worry and confusion, clearly recognising your feelings. "Y/N, what's the matter?" You locked eyes with Cas, and your breath hitched in your throat before taking a deep breath. "Truth is, Cas, I've got something to confess. I've felt something for you for a while, but I haven't had the confidence to tell you until now. I wasn't sure whether you could reciprocate those feelings or even understand what they mean, but I needed to tell you."
To your surprise, Castiel smiled widely back at you, his hand reaching across the table to take yours. "I feel the same way, Y/N. At first, I wasn't sure what they meant, so I talked with Dean. He said, and I quote, 'If you hurt her, I will kill you, bring you back and send your ass down to hell.' I wasn't sure how you felt about me, so I kept them to myself. So, you couldn't imagine how happy you have just made me." You brought your hand up to your mouth and kissed it, a sentiment that made Cas blush. "I can imagine, angel. I feel the same way."
For the next few months, your relationship with Castiel and your feelings for each other grew. Considering your hunting life, you could have never imagined you would ever find someone to love. There were dangers to being the girlfriend of an angel, but you were already a Winchester, so you were used to the threat. Your relationship wasn't conventional; you had to teach Castiel a lot about love and how to treat the person you loved, but you didn't mind. He was your angel, and his innocence made you love him even more.
However, no matter how hard you tried to teach Castiel how to act with the person you loved, it never seemed to stick. You often found yourself alone in the bunker whilst he and your brothers were off hunting, stuck on the sidelines and feeling rather lonely. He never used to leave you behind; he loved being by your side whilst hunting, but something has changed, and you were determined to know what.
You waited until they returned from the hunt and walked into the war room, arms across your chest. "Oh no, Cas, you've done something wrong, buddy. She's got that look in her eyes." You narrowed your eyes at Sam, a silent warning to shut the hell up. He chuckled and held up his hands in surrender before making his way to the kitchen, Dean following suit but not before making sure you were ok. "Hey, kid. Everything good? Do I need to make good on my promise?" You smiled slightly at him and shook your head. "Everything's fine, Dean. Cas and I just need to chat; that's all." He nodded in understanding before following his brother. Cas made his way towards you, a soft smile on his face and placing a kiss on your head, but sensed your tenseness and his features changed completely.
"Y/N, what's wrong? Did something happen while we were away?" You shook your head, a soft breath leaving your mouth. "Let's go to my room; we need to talk about something." He looked confused but followed you to your room, closing the door behind him. "What's the matter? I can sense that there's something wrong." "You're right, Cas. There is something wrong. Something wrong with us." His expression changed as you finished your sentence to a look of hurt and sadness. "What do you mean? I don't understand. We both love each other; there's nothing wrong with that." You took his hands and guided him to the foot of your bed, sitting yourselves down. "I agree; there's nothing wrong with us loving each other, Cas. But it's been feeling rather one-sided lately. I always show you how much I love you by doing your favourite things and teaching you the ways of the human world. I always want to spend time with you, but you either push me away or you're too busy. You leave me behind on hunts even though you know I can handle my own. I'm kind of sick of being in this relationship alone. When humans are in a relationship, actions and feelings are reciprocated."
Castiel ripped his hands from yours, and his expression turned into frustration and hurt. "You seem to forget, Y/N, I'm not a human, and I never was. So why are you expecting me to act like one? I don't know how you act or treat each other in relationships, and I barely even know how to act properly with my friends. I'm trying so hard to let you know that I love you, but I don't know how. I never want to push you away, Y/N; I just don't know how to act around you, and it becomes too much for me to handle. I never want to leave you behind when I go with your brothers, but I feel like I must, so I know you're safe; that's the only way I know how to properly show you my love. If that's not good enough, then I suppose our relationship isn't working at all."
Before you could say anything, Castiel stormed out of the room and past the kitchen, alerting the brothers that something had happened. You knew he had left with the bang of the bunker door, and sobs wracked your body. You hadn't realised Cas didn't know what to do; you just thought he was lousy. Sam and Dean rushed to your room and wrapped you in their arms, seeing your state. "He's gone, hasn't he? He's really gone. I've really hurt him, guys. I need to find him to get him back." You were about to stand up, but Dean pulled you back down, shaking his head. "No, princess. Let him cool off; he'll be back. No matter what happened between the two of you, he'd never leave you." You smiled and nodded, but you had a horrible feeling in your stomach that he wouldn't come back.
