The fact that Daenerys's occupation of the slaver cities in Essos is such an obvious parallel to the invasion of Iraq by the USA and people still go out of their way to defend Daenerys is wild to me, it's 2025, we can all agree that forced occupation of any nation, no matter how much you don't agree with their culture, is wrong right?.... Right?????

I just saw a post that said PTSD is not a excuse to hurt people, regarding Tony's reaction to his parents murder.

These same people will justify Wanda and Daenerys' actions because they were sad and grieving.

Accords aside, the entire situation between Tony and Bucky was so unfair, both of them were the victims.. and steve should have told Tony way beforehand about his parents.

I get that he was trying to protect his friend Bucky...

But his line of "Sometimes my teammates don't tell me things" is so hypocritical .

I really like Allison's Hargreeves as a character.

I don't like that one sexual assault scene in season 3, I was mad that it happened and it took me a little while before I could enjoy Allison's character again... no amount of grief ever excuses anyone to do that.

But Allison wasn't just that one scene in Season 3, I am currently being called a rapist apologist by a tiktok commenter 🤣.

Tell me, does liking Allison as a character make me a rapist apologist?

They want to romanticise colonialism and genocide

I want to see Robert Baratheon's rebellion. I want a show that's unbiased and actually showcases the horrors of the Targaryen family. I want to see an entire kingdom realizing they are completely alone because the monarchs have never done anything for the good of the people. I want to see a young Jaime Lannister struggling to decide what to do. I want to see a young Ned Stark fighting for what he believes in. I want a show where the people are afraid — because who wouldn't be?

Instead, we got a pure blood supremacy, medieval neonazi, divine right dream show ... thanks, I guess?
