Elvis' Christmas Album (1957)
Elvis the legend he was made a Christmas album back during his day. Funny enough it was his third studio album ever. This album spent 4 months at no.1 on the billboard top pop. With this being stated, i believe the covers are the low point of this album (for the most point). While the covers are quite good in their own right, i think comparative to other popular recordings of the same songs, such as o little town of Bethlehem, there are much stronger recordings of the same song. With this in mind these songs are still well rewritten and recorded and quite a joy to listen to. One of my personal favorite parts about this album, alongside other Elvis albums, is the outtakes included within the album recordings, which gives a outlook within the times themselves nearly 70 years ago. The singles on the other hand, released for this album are pretty great, but nowhere near the peak of elvis' career.
The three songs listed as the original singles released for this album (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) are Santa Bring my Baby Back, Blue Christmas, and Santa Claus is Back in Town. All three of these songs are enjoyable in their own right but the former two are arguably the more enjoyable Christmas songs to come off of this album. Stanta bring my baby back to me has a faster tempo alongside Elvis' vocals, it works well as a song to dance to. On the other side, Blue Christmas is one of Elvis' most recognizable songs within his own discography, its a slower song with some enjoyable vocals to boot. With this said, im going to give this album a 7/10 for being a solid holiday pick, and still providing a great variety of Christmas songs.

Lets Review: Miracles in December (Chinese Version) - EXO
When Looking for an album for todays review i was doing my best to pull a pick completely out of left field in regards to what ive already reviewed in the recent past. I settled on this album as it was the largest Christmas related K-pop project i was able to find via Spotify and it was a pretty nice change of pace. The album itself was a nice change of pace only having the length of 24 minutes and with that it absolutely doesn't overstay its welcome. The album had a mix of cumbersome and upbeat songs and while not understanding the lyrics the vocal performance was relaxing. Off of my one listen though the album my favorite song was "The Star" for its sly style, perfect for the nighttime aux session. While I'm not certain i will expect myself to listen to this album in the future due to my lacking recognition of any of the band members or band itself, I do suggest this album for any big K-pop or c-pop fans out there! I'm giving this album a 7/10 for its not overly intrusive pop take on a Christmas album, and still getting my attention despite being outside of my music comfort zone. That's the end of my review today! If you enjoyed this review I suggest you check out my page for even more upcoming reviews in the future and goodnight Seattle!

Lets review: A Charlie Brown Christmas (Deluxe Edition)- Vince Guaraldi Trio
I decided to listen to this album as I'm already a big fan of Vince Guaraldi's work for Charlie brown and thought it was due time to listen to his Christmas album for the series front to back. I was presently surprised that it matched my standards i had expected. Vince Does a wonderful job of matching cumbersome with upbeat and cheerful going song to song. "Christmas Time Is Here" along with its vocal performance may be my favorite Christmas song/s of all time with how it perfectly encapsulates the feeling of staying inside on a snowy day waiting for go ahead to get your snow gear on and build a snowman. Vince's work on the piano may very well be some of my favorite piano ever and the children's choir makes for fantastic vocals. I seriously doubt i can find a Christmas album that will beat the timelessness of this one. If you are unfamiliar with this album i would suggest going for the original album listen as the deluxe only adds outtakes that may worsen the listening experience. Besides that i give this album a 10/10 score and recommended as the perfect Christmas listening experience. That's todays review! Lets discuss: Christmas( Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition)- Michael Bublé
Going into this album I wasn't super familiar with Bublé's work, besides the genre and the one or two songs I've heard of his in the past i was going in expecting to enjoy this album fairly well and i would say my judgement was just about spot on. I would say the worst thing this album had going for it was its near hour and a half runtime. To those unfamiliar with this album and to my future self, I absolutely recommend splitting the listening session into multiple sessions because 1 hour and 20 minutes for a Christmas album is a lot to handle with its little variety in tone. With that out of the way, I absolutely fell in love with Michael Bublé's voice, this being very stylistically comparable to that of Frank Sinatra, both of course bring out the best of big band jazz music with Bublé fitting into a slightly higher vocal range. The instrumentation on the album was fantastic and really brought the best out of each cover. The features weren't overused either and added to each of the songs they were in, my personal favorite feature was Thalia in "Mis Deseos/Feliz Navidad" With the higher female vocal range fitting the tone of the song. This album gets a 8/10 from me, definitely some great songs but its great length as well as its much more lacking replay-ability (in my personal tastes) I expect to find myself coming back to this album quite a bit less than other Christmas tunes. That just about does it for today, If you enjoyed this review I suggest you check out my page for even more upcoming reviews in the future and goodnight Seattle!

Lets discuss: The Christmas Song(Expanded Edition) - Nat King Cole
To say this album was a big deal back at its release is an understatement of all things. Being that this album is over 60 years old, the recording comes with a warm fuzzy feel brought by the microphone quality at the time, a feature from any old album at the time. Alongside a voice like that of Nat's, it near perfectly embodies the spirit of all things Christmas. This album truly deserves all the love and respect it has gathered over the years for being one of the greatest Christmas albums of all time because Nat King Cole had no idea how to miss on this album, If there was a Christmas soundtrack this would be it, I've heard near all of these songs before, hell I'm sure I've heard some of these songs every year since the day i was born but it doesn't devalue the replay- ability of this album. "The happiest Christmas tree" has to be the silliest song off this album but while it had me audibly laughing it didn't devalue the song in my eyes and if anything had made it more memorable. I will definitely be going back to this album many times in the future. Im giving this album a high 9/10 for its wonderful lineup of songs. That's it for today, If you enjoyed this review I suggest you check out my page for even more upcoming reviews in the future and goodnight Seattle!

Lets discuss: You Make it Feel Like Christmas - Gwen Stefani
While im not a massive fan of new Christmas music i do appreciate it when an artist goes through the trouble of paying their respects to old classics by doing a song justice via a cover song or album. This being said, this album had left me with mixed reactions... on one hand its got some great covers that don't stray too far away from the source material, on the other hand, a hand full of the original songs and even some of the covers aren't all that fantastic. Personally "My Gift to you" and "When I Was A Little Girl" were two of the most mediocre songs on this album and i couldn't wait for them to be over. Furthermore, i wasn't too big on Gwen's more country-esque take on some of these songs, although i don't think it completely ruined the album for me. On the other hand, "Never Kissed Anyone With Blue Eyes" and "You Make It Feel Like Christmas", were a decent surprise as i had expected many of the original songs to not live up to the hype, and Blake Sheltons feature made it all the more worthwhile of a listen. Overall, i give this album a 6/10 for having many good elements, while riddled down with many mediocre features.
