I, of course, understand that using AI to do ALL the work for you is not okay. Period. But I think that as long as you know the information already and aren’t making the AI generate the answers for you, it’s mostly fine. Please hear me out before you get mad and start yelling at me.

My older brother has been diagnosed with high functioning autism and ADD. Because of this, any class work he’s given takes much longer for him to complete. For example, an assignment that would take most people an hour to complete would normally take him about 3-4 hours. He’s just finished his second year of college and is studying mechanical engineering, so he has some pretty tough work. He’s very smart and knows all the information he needs to for his classes, but struggles with writing, and he can’t take 4 hours on each assignment, even with the time extensions his professors give him. When he’s given assignments that require him to write and explain something such as explaining how a machine is built or operated properly, he used Chat GPT to help him write. He has all the information he needs, but it’s all in notes and bullet points, so he uses AI to help him articulate what he wants to say. He still knows everything, but using AI to help him turn notes into essays can cut the time spent on it in half - and sometimes even more!

Basically what I’m saying is that AI isn’t always bad, and can really help people with learning disabilities. Even though it’s not good for the most part, AI can still be a good tool to use. Almost like a calculator for essays in my brother’s case!

at work we have a bartender named tyler and he collects wine corks so we put them in a little box for him and another bartender makes fun of him cause his t’s look like l’s so she wrote “lyler’s corks” and i saw it this morning and i grabbed a marker and changed the ‘c’ to a ‘g’

and after he left a bartender came up to me and said “aww lyler left his gorks” and i lost it
