I think it's really funny in SPN that if someone refers to something, you have to go "What episode is that?"

But if anything refers to Bugs, you don't have to ask. In your heart, you know it's Bugs. There is no alternative, no other episode but this one. It's Bugs. Whether you like it or not.

the deeply personal thing that specifically grinds my gears about that absurd kink meme rules post though is this little line:

the whole thing is ridiculous and it feels kind of silly for me to specifically be squinting at this but it comes back to my whole bugbear about the way fandom often talks about kink as being all about the needs of the submissive, with the dom as sort of an afterthought without a lot of interiority of their own. the aftercare is for the submissive, specifically, only.

The irony of this new breed of righteous AI hunters on AO3 is that they're all just copy and pasting peoples fics into AI detectors, which are all operated by AI and therefore THEY are feeding people's work into the algorithm without their consent and in some cases no doubt circumventing the locks people put on to avoid getting scraped...

Don't copy and paste anyone's AO3 work into third party websites, you're not the good guys in this situation?
