I drew a sketch of Chara from ‘Interlopers: Hopes And Dreams From Olathe’, so I decided to finish it!

I love ‘Interlopers’ sm, so I decided to take a break from working on ‘Ask Ashes!Chara’ to draw for myself a bit - and I’m honestly really proud of it :D

The AU honestly makes me so happi, and all the work which went into into it is absolutely beautiful <33

Hii I‘m thinking of getting Lisa the painful as a birthday gift for a friend but i dont really know if he’ll like it, he liked omori and deltarune and Zelda and videogames like that but since I don’t know much about video games then i dont know if those are similar, could you help me out??

OH YO, yes ofc I’d be happy to help!! This is a very good question!!! :00 (might have to go on a bit of a tangent to properly answer this, so bear with me here LMAO)

Hmm I’d say it’s def a good gift idea if your friend is into rpgs n whatnot, altho Lisa is kinda unique in that it’s not as lighthearted as games like Deltarune and Zelda I guess? Like, the themes it deals with in comparison are definitely pretty dark, so in that respect I’d say it’s kind of similar to Omori in that it covers subject matter like trauma and unhealthy coping mechanisms in a pretty powerful way!! But it also still has a great sense of humor that cuts through really well also, which is sorta almost outrageous at times, similar to Undertale’s comedic timing imo hehe,, :))

Anyways uhh not sure what elements your pal is most interested in when it comes to games, but I’d say its strong suit is definitely in its character development and world building!! (Which i’d say is a pretty prominent feature in the games you mentioned as well!) The gameplay, specifically the battle sequences, I’d say is a bit generic in terms of rpgs in my own opinion, especially compared to more unique styles like Deltarune or Omori, but I’d say it’s still super fun and challenging enough to keep the player engaged!

Tl;dr, i’d say that he might find it to be a rad play!! It’s definitely unique in a lot of ways, but if your friend is into wacky and often pretty existential shenanigans, i’m sure he’d enjoy seeing it through just for the heck of it :))

So uhh, I hope that helps to some extent!! And regardless of if you decide to gift him Lisa the Painful or not, i hope it all goes well and that your bud has a great birthday!!! :DD
