Sorry to be an ugly fun-killer but in light of the recent Invasion I urge you all to be mindful of the things you reblog and the memes that you repost. Please remember that behind every "world war 3 lmao" post there is a reality where real people are going to be displaced from their homes and are going to lose their lives.

Before you laugh at that tweet that talks about the draft or whatever ask yourself: are you laughing because it's funny? or are you laughing because you're safe and comfortable in the West and it's not a direct problem for you?

Ich wurde gestern von einer Freundin dumm von der Seite angemacht, weil ich mir im Buchladen eine Papiertüte habe geben lassen, anstatt mein Buch, der Umwelt zu liebe, mit in die Stofftasche zu stopfen. Daraufhin ist sie mal kurz in den Supermarkt und hat sich eine halbierte Ananas gekauft, die schön in Plastik eingepackt war.

So, warum kotzt mich so eine Kleinigkeit an? Weil ich um jegliche Konfrontation zu meiden einfach nichts gesagt habe. Und jetzt trag ich die Wut mit mir rum und kann mich die nächsten 87 Jahre damit rumschlage und zwar nur weil ich dem Moralapostel nicht sagen konnte, dass mich so eine Doppelmoral gerne mal auf 180 bringt.

Was lernen wir daraus? Sei nicht wie ich, stehe für dich ein und knall den Leuten ruhig mal hin, wenn sie sich bescheuert benehmen. Die Konfrontation ist nach fünf Minuten vorbei, die Wut auf dich selber wenn du nichts sagst kann um einiges länger dauern.

I know this will bother unhealed adults, but the real world, more often than not, does give you second chances and do overs. Very rarely are things set in stone. And people, especially young people, deserve to know that. Because lording the idea that they can never mess up, even once, does a lot more damage than good.
