have you ever drawn what rabies would look like for unimune?

I'm avoiding including big 100% deadly diseases in my story. That concerns stuff like the brain-eating amoeba, prions, black molds and dangerous virus like the rabies. (Also the Covid-19 for being a very recent and a sensitive topic).

But hey, I still can try for researches!

Who's the host? Also love love love the megakaryocyte and it's little tiny face it's so cute

There's no specific host! Each missions send the squiggles to a new host!

For logical reasons the hosts are highly suggested to be humans but it's not mentionned in the story so people can imagine anything!

You have Bacterias, Amoebas, Fungi, Virus, Cancers but the main antagonists are White Blood Cells: Synaps the Dentritic Cell (Unimune part 1) and Dale the Helper T Cell (Unimune part 2)

Why do only Tars and Phal have helmets- or membranes as I heard them be called?

Are there other cells that aren't immune cells that are modified? I'm assuming the pathogens being sentient is just a stylistic thing (WHICH IS GOOD LOL BECAUSE HAVING A BATTLE WITH A BUNCH OF SLIMES IS KINDA BORING LOL..)

It allows you to make very cool villains like the fungus and amoeba!! ^^^^

Every modified cells have a helmet (membrane) included in their suit for avoiding cytoplasm exposure. It's very not adviced to go working without wearing it. It's (mainly) Lymphocytes who just happen to take it off because they can't bear having their head restricted, it's difficult to sense antigens otherwise.

Modified white blood cells are the focus of the story but I'm thinking of a red blood cell and a Megakaryocyte as potential concepts too.

Finally, yeah, except virus, every pathogens are sentient enemies, it makes them more enjoyable and it allows me to write different type of villains hehehehehehe
