70% was told to make it 90%
No workout related items today. Fighting a bit of stomach bug. So....
Just a little story today. I had to pick my wife up at work the other day. I pulled in and parked like I usually do but as I got out I noticed a little old lady sitting in the passenger side of the truck I parked next to. I smiled and nodded as I passed her.
Went in to let my wife know I was there and to say hi to everyone. It only took her a couple of minutes to gather her stuff and we were out.
As we come out of the building I was in the first spot and the passenger side of the car was right there. So I reach down and open the car door for my wife. She gets in and situated and I close it for her.
What I didn’t realize was the lady was watching us the whole time. So as I come around the car to get in she asks me how often I do that for her. I stop and thought for a moment and answer 70% of the time. She smiles and says; Good but make it 90%. I smile and say; Yes ma’am.
So I guess, the reason I’m telling this story is to remind all of us that if we’re lucky enough to have someone special in our lives that we need to treat them just a little better today than we did yesterday.
