Oh god, the stray cat au is so funny! Can you do a continuation? Like maybe heaven gets involved (you have every political and powerful figure in hell , and heaven, fighting eachother, how can they not) so they go to court to try to come to some custody agreement. Spoiler alert, they do not come to an agreement and decide to let alastor decide. Cue them trying to bribe alastor into living with them and alastor thinking he should just live with Rosie

With all these au's where alastor gets adopted by different people, imagine one where he accidentally gets adopted by multiple people! Like this feral kid just pops up out of nowhere, they get attached and he just disappears periodically for a week or two befor coming back. But they get used to it by the time he's a pre-teen assuming he's just living with Rosie for a bit. He's Like that neighborhood cat that everyone feeds but instead it's parenting and no one knows about the other parents. Alastor just thinks it's normal and thinks that they are all awareof eachother. And it all comes crashing down when one parent (Camila or Zestial) finds him with his other parent (maybe husk, he working at a casino?) Ether way parent war engaged

And maybe him embarrassing alastor when he becomes an overlord? Being like "THATS MY GRANDSON" and alastor being like "grandpa, you're embarrassing me"

Some Genderbend radiorose fic ideas I have:

-everyone at the hotel gawking and talking about how easily Al gets flustered around Rory doing the simplest things like kissing her hand, calling her nicknames, or just openly flirting with her (I love flustered Al so much)

-You can do a one off with them having a kid (Alice May) and Rory being the biggest girl dad to ever girl dad

-the hotel/overlords get brought to a room with a giant TV just to react to Al and Rory being cute (on a date, cooking together, dancing) and Vox being pissy (This one I've seen the concept done before but it may be difficult to write/ where I got the idea) :

“where the fuck are we?” and it all gets worse from there.

Pentious, due to his love of his family despite being a man of industrialization, was able to see how his family lived topside - his wife never remarried but when she died and came down to hell, she declared they were done. His son Edmond moved to America and had a son, Charles. Charles became a right piece of work, marrying a creole woman but that wasn't the problem. The problem came when Charles beat on her and their eventual son Alastor - his first name was the shared middle name of Edmond and the actual first name of Pentious when he been alive.

And then? Alastor died, barely at five, due to sickness - from what? Pentious himself could only guess. But.. sadly, the small thing ended up in Hell. As a wee little deer, who appeared in Pentious' bed at night. Pentious was able to recognize him, the boy looked more like his mother than he ever did any of Pentious' stock.

"Are you gonna eat me, mister snake?" The small thing was shaking, and pitiful looking.

"No, dear boy." Pentious smiled at Alastor. "What kind of great-grandfather would I be if I did?"

"Great.." Alastor tilted his head. "How's that?"

"Oh, well.." Pentious had to stop and do the math in his head. "Your father was my grandson." He looked at the frightened face on the deer. "No, no, my dear boy. Grandpa Pen won't harm you, nor shall I allow anyone to-" he stopped, getting a chest full of deer, holding him as he screamed and cried. "Let it all out, my boy. Grandpa has you now, you are safe."

Pentious learns this.. and is downright horrified. and apologetic to lenora and wants to go down and try to make things right with his great grandson - and beat the shit out of charles for what he did to his family

I keep imagining a halfway genderbent Radiorose for some reason. Like Alastriona/Rosie, and Al's panicking because she's afraid to overstep boundaries of friendship after realizing she's in love. Or Alastor / Rory where Rory’s aware Alastor usually dislikes men, and then Alastor realizes he feels things and is upset he's basically destroyed the single good relationship he's had with a man (except not really because feeling is mutual; he's just super dramatic)

Can you do an au where husk raises alastor? Like alastor arives young (could be as a kid or young adult) and husk, who is still an overlord takes him in. This could be so fun, like alastor would know how to gamble as he was raised by the overlord of gambling. And husk would be at the hotel to spind time with his kid who DISAPPEARED FOR SEVEN YEARS! The nerve! Also the idea of Husk having to apove his dates is funny to me. Like alastor can be shipped with rosy or Sera for all I care, heck do the genderswap au and make alastor Husk's daughter. But when it comes to vox, husk has a 'kill on sight" order on him. No one stalks his kid.

" red imp with curled black hair and striped white and black horns that curled like deer antlers. There was a white X on his forehead that had a single white line dripping like blood, large white splotches like blood surrounding his sharp yellow eyes, down his body [...] was long thick marks of white that looked like they were.. canine or at least animal in nature, and a thick white line that blended in and also stuck out because it was the newest one. impastor adjacent, thus doesn't affect it at all

where al is an imp who learned magic from the rulers of Antler's Crossing (Ezekiel, Marilyn and their daughter Lenora) - becoming adopted into the family as a baby by Lenora who couldn't have children in life

Alastor disguises his imp form to be that of a deer sinner, a radio man - he can control radio regardless of his form

he only owns Husker's soul, having adopted Niffty after she ended up in hell as a child (thus continuing the tradition) - niffty knows, but pinky promised she wouldn't rat out her dad, husk doesn't and al is kinda scared to tell him because of how he saw husk treating some of the imp workers at his casino

he does find Charlie's hotel idea funny, which is the only reason he's there, alwsys having that disconnect from humanity

charlie and lucifer haven't figured out they are getting punked by an imp

does his adopted family want redemption? no. none of them do

but, Niffty is making progress - al knows this, niffty knows this, the whole family knows.. it'll be time, soon, to spill the beans. as niffty's day to ascend gets closer, alastor can't bear the thought of his daughter up there with no one. and then, during a family meeting, lenora volunteers to join the hotel, to go with her granddaughter - as alastor can never leave hell

needless to say, Alastor's anxiety was so high and hooked up to the speakers in the hotel despite being in the Crossing that everyone heard it and have questions when they return

impastor au

2 versions:

Version A

he was lost in the human work by his parents who stumbled onto a loose veil of magic in hell and dropped him as they scrambled away from hunters

Version B:

was basically a baby imp put in place of the actual, real, human baby alastor - like a changeling

lenora is infuriated and disowns him

he has a big ass meltdown because his existence was a fucking lie from day one

both:

he took on the appearance of a human (insert magic explanation here) and grew up as a human fully believing himself to be a human even to this day

he learns of his true heritage after the finale, waking up one morning (after a trust building excersize of everyone piling into a lounge room to watch movies that led to everyone falling asleep there) to find himself as his true imp form

and everyone was looking at him

he very quickly finds out:

he no longer has magic of any form (his bayou is gone, leaving him with just a study with a pillow and blanket nest on the floor)

doesn't have control over husk and niffty's souls

isn't on a leash, not like that's of any comfort now though

doesn't know how to walk without his tail wrapping around his legs

hates being shorter than lucifer

and doesn't understand why no one is really treating him any different than before? weren't imps the lowest of Hell's totem pole?

but rosie brings up an interesting point: all of the overlords will lose their minds at not only niffty and husk being back, but that an imp is a lord

or.. they would.. but lucifer explains: "imps were never meant to be more than dime a dozen pests, by the magic of hell, short stack over there isn't anything more than shit on the bottom of my boot"

another round of tantrums ("this hotel is for human souls!" "al.." "i can't be here!" "alastor! fucking fuck! shut up and let me remind you of something: this hotel is for ALL souls who want redemption, to change. and that includes you.")

Summary: Inspired by Seaisme's genderbent Radiorose fic series, "Dial Thorns" and a mixture of adaptations of the classic French tale, "La Belle et la Bete.

Alastriona is an outcast in her village. She only has her mother for real companionship. Her 'friend' Mimzy, however, ends up landing both of them in huge trouble... which, while it does provide escape from Vox's advances, means she's stuck with a male cannibal. How lovely.
