A poem

Two feelings as fierce as summer and winter

One cold like the bitter, icy bite of the Winter

One fuzzy and delightful like the joyous warmth of Summer

Two feelings as fierce as they are prominent

As overwhelmingly present as the seasons whenever they aren’t the dominant

Two voices fighting for the chance to put the other at bay

To take control and make me feel for a day

The summer feeling brings energy, happiness, and play

The winter feeling brings dread, woe, and dismay

With the winter feelings I will just lay

And with the summer feelings I will seize the day

In this sway of feelings can be an inbetween

Although it’s a feeling that’s rarely seen

A feeling not as hateful or bitter as woe

Yet not as joyful or playful as the one that screams “Go!”

These feelings are an important part of me

They bring me happiness, motivation, and energy

Summer days are when my mind is free to roam

When no room is boring to my dome

The winter days bring me loneliness and no serenity

Where no good story can be told through the fog in my brains vicinity

On a day of Luck they combine and bring me neutrality

Where I have a choice of focus

Where I am most in control

A feeling of woe and winter

A feeling of warmth and summer

A feeling of choice and neutrality

3 feelings so far from similar

Yet not as forgiving as any other

The feelings that haunt my body are tri

These feeling are anything but dry

Woe of trauma, Warmth of joy, and Choice of thought

Why are these the feelings that you’ve brought?

There are more, and maybe so

But these winter feelings are the only of three
