the internet is full of people who spend all their time looking for people that they can be awful to. and even in the cases where i agree that x person or y group is morally wrong, i hate it, because the morals aren't the point. the cruelty is the point, and the only thing that separates them from the average channer is the people they consider worthy of harassment and abuse

#fucking SAVE ME from mealy bugs#i don't even care about the thrips any more#i laugh in the face of spider mites and ignore them for weeks#but MEALY BUGS ARE DDRIVING ME INSANE#and they def caused me to avoid taking care of a few certain plants cause i just couldn't deal with the dread of seeing how bad it was#it does not matter how long or how well i stay on top of them#somehow they outlast my persistence every time#/rant.

#somebody pls lend me your sanity#i am more anxious right now than i think i realize#i have until saturday to get this under control and then a week to hope i don't come back to a MASSIVE infestation#the brasil is almost def a casualty already#he is NOT happy.#heart leaf who is huge has the biggest infestation but#after i doused him with a neem based fungicide (all i had on hand at the time) all the tiny baby thrips appear to have stopped moving???#i bought captain jack's deadbug brew in case i don't see improvement by friday#plantblr#crazy plant lady#if i lose any of these i will cry.#and if the thai con gets touched i will prob just scream and throw up#i have seen conflicting stories about plant survivability and too many suggestions to just toss the infected plants#they clearly underestimate my emotional attachment to all these leafy fuckers#protip: maybe don't base your mental well-being on perishable things like me

So the ex moved out and left me a nice empty apartment and I had to gather almost half my plants so the movers could take his furniture.
How I know I will be just fine after this breakup: all I can think about is discovering how much more room I have for plants now.

This is rosemary.
I DID NOT KNOW IT GROWS THIS TALL
And then I was visiting my grandmother and we were walking through her garden and talking about all her plants and then she is like, yeah and this is my 2m tall rosemary...
Which like, I only ever saw them as small plants you could buy in the supermarket or small ones i nurseries.
Is this tall enough to be called a tree?
