Ravenclaw

March 25, 1973
Wand:
Ginkgo, Fireball Heart String, 13 ½ in. Pliant Flexibility

Dragonfly
Biography:
Lian was born in Westport Ireland to parents Li Ling Xioalong and Jei Li Zhang. The couple had their hands full with her older brother Shifan who was turning 5 at the time. Thankfully she was a quiet baby and hardly caused a fuss until she was able to walk, that was when the fun began.
When Lian was almost six her older brother was accepted into Hogwarts. Once he left the normally active and happy child would cry for hours on end wanting her big brother. Shifan was sorted into Gryffindor and would write home often, Lian would demand to sit in her father’s lap while she read the letters to him.
Much to her delight however later that year she got a little cousin who she adored from her Aunt Ying Yue and Uncle Pearman. And for five years the girl’s often saw each other having many slumber parties.
Finally once Lian was able to attend Hogwarts she was so very excited. However when it came to getting supplies they passed over Ollivander’s. This was because Lian already had a wand, something that passed from woman to woman on her mother’s side of the family. It was a wand that had seen much in it’s time and was perfect for those with a keen eye for divination.
Upon arriving at Hogwarts Lian was sorted into Ravenclaw just like her mother and father had been their first year, in her excitement she nearly tripped hurrying to join her peers at her house table.
Lian’s first years at Hogwarts were eventful. She made quite a few friends, including Dora Tonks and the oldest Weasley brothers. The girl also got herself and friends into quite a bit of trouble. In her troubles however she learned and applied curse breaking techniques giving her an appreciation for the magic.
In school Lian learned a variety of skills including healing arts, divination, and her dueling skills. These brought a few career openings in her life.
In third year Lian became the first female Zhang to be a beater on a quidditch team and during her fifth year, she became a prefect alongside her best friend Charlie.
Upon graduating Lian wasn’t sure what she was going to do, however she had to act quickly as her family would be moving back to China just a few short months after. One day she received an owl from Charlie Weasley about a new opening for a healer and about how he had put a good word in for her.
Not long after sending in her credentials and receiving acceptance she was packed and heading to Romania for her new job at the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary. Lian stayed on in what the dragonologist at the sanctuary called the healer’s hut. It was a small dorm like building for any healers that did not want to find their own place.
Lian was quite good at her job, and had even been help with the Chinese Fireballs on location due to her mother and grandmother having taught her a thing or two while growing up and visiting China. She wholeheartedly loved hatchling season, often getting a bit too close for comfort according to the sanctuary workers.
After a few months on base she noticed a few blokes coming in for minor bumps and bruises quite often. When she brought this up to Charlie during afternoon tea and he went a bit red round the ears whilst assured her that he would handle it. Saying that if they had to go to a healer for a few bruises then they shouldn’t be working with some of the most spontaneous creatures in the wizarding world. Not long after this Lian and Charlie began to see one another, much to the chagrin of quite a few of the other researchers and healers. After a month or so Lian moved into Charlie’s small home nearby.
After a couple years she and Charlie went to vacation in Egypt with the rest of the Weasley’s. There she met with Bill again and the two began to discuss his job, which led her to applying with Gringotts and quickly being accepted for jobs in Egypt.
Charlie was actually really excited for Lian, knowing that this was something she would be able to enjoy doing. The duo discussed the distance between them and came to the decision to make it work knowing fully well that they could handle it if they worked on it together. Though once in a while there were tears and ,on the rare side, arguments they held strong knowing that the other was doing what they loved and that they loved each other dearly despite the distance.
During the first task for the Triwizard tournament Lian took off on leave in order to be a healer for any injuries that the dragons may cause during the travel and task. She however was not able to attend the final task and did not hear about what happened until a letter reached her from Bill and Charlie.
When Bill took his desk job at Gringotts Lian had been in correspondence with Dumbledore about joining the order and starting to work as assistant to Madam Pomfrey in the Hospital wing during the 1995-96 school year. During the year she was interviewed by Dolores Umbridge and with great difficulty keeping a straight face informed the toad woman of her studying under the resident mediwitch during her school years and her years working as a healer in Romania. When the interview turned to personally to Lian’s connection with the Chinese Ministry and her family the young woman ended the interview by standing and promptly exiting the room.
Right before the winter Holidays and Arthur Weasley’s attack Lian and Charlie had made their way to China on a visit to her family. She discussed some of the happening at Hogwarts with her older brother who was by then an ambassador to the Chinese Ministry and let Charlie visit with the women in his family who tended to the Fireballs.
Upon her return to Hogwarts however she was sacked and was ‘politely’ told that perhaps it would be best if she returned to Romania. This was because the school needed top of the line healers and not patchwork ones. Needless to say she nearly laughed herself to tears upon hearing from the twins. That laughter turned to shock however when she heard about the battle at the ministry.
That summer, after almost five years of dating, Lian and Charlie decided to quickly tie the knot. The couple only gave the burrow a weeks notice before popping in. It was a quiet ceremony only involving Charlie’s family and a couple friends. Fleur helped her dress herself up and Bill gave her away. At the end of it all Lian kept her own last name, Charlie didn’t seem to mind this decision simply happy that they had done so before the entire world went to hell in a hand basket.
During the later parts of 1996 and into early 1997 Lian and Charlie remained in Romania making their connections while Lian kept in contact with her cousins back in China. A few of her cousins even joined them at the sanctuary. Lian returned for Dumbledore’s funeral hugging her younger cousin Adrinette as the girl cried.
Shortly after Bill’s wedding Lian was also questioned and some time after Charlie’s release was to be sent back to Romania. That is until she was stopped by the ministry with a ‘request’ from Headmaster Snape to come back back to Hogwarts peacefully to resume her work as a healer.
That school year was very hard on Lian. The woman saw many of the students who came in and out of the wing like a revolving door. Lian was tested as she healed many curses and even marks from where students had been hit with jinxes and even fists. There was little she could do however since a close eye was kept on her due to her husband’s family’s connections to Harry Potter. Her letters were also heavily watched. In a letter to her husband and in laws she mentioned in a sort of code that Ginny was often ‘visiting her’ in the hospital wing keeping Lian company. This was to ensure all the Weasley’s she could that Ginny was under her care and she was trying to keep her safe.
The night Teddy Lupin was born Lian was able to get permission from Serverus Snape to visit an ‘ailing’ friend. After a few hours she was one of the first people to hold little Teddy Lupin and was named Godmother alongside Harry Potter.
When the battle of Hogwarts raged Lian was in the midst of it trying to protect all the students she could. Once the hour was called she was right alongside the others gathering whomever she could working to heal who and what she could. When she was told about Fred she broke into tears holding tight to the first redhead within reach, Percy. The man held onto her and muttered how it should have been him.
During the last of the battle Lian was dueling with Ginny and Luna being joined by Hermione. Lian pulled Ginny away from the curse thrown her way by Bellatrix Lestrange and held her sister-in-law close as Molly dueled and defeated the woman. After the war ended Lian found her best friend lying next to her husband and cried over her best friend’s death. Soon her husband joined her and the two simply held one another as they sobbed for all those they had lost.
Post war Lian stayed in the UK and helped Andromeda care for Teddy during her free months and using some of her own money to pay for the things that the two needed. She of course kept in touch with her husband and visited his family frequently. After professor Flitwick retired following the second wizarding war Lian was able to take up the position as Charms professor and head of Ravenclaw house. She held close to her previous professor’s beliefs and went onto teach students to the best of her abilities.
Lian and Charlie eventually settled down in a cottage in Hogsmead with their young daughter.

December 20, 1959
Wand:
Black Walnut, Unicorn Hair, 13 ¾ in. Fairly Bendy
Reed, Unknown Hair, 12 ½ in. Rigid Felxibility
Animagus:
Lioness
Patronus:
Lion
Biography:
Regina Ophelia Holdestone, known as Reggie to friends, neighbors, and basically anyone who meets the girl, grew up in a loving home. Her father is from a very wealthy family from up North, Durmstrang students all the way back until... whenever really.
And a beautiful Scottish woman with a lot of spunk and a thirst for adventure. Along with two loyal dogs and a large cat she had a younger twin brother named Raphael Othello Holdestone who has a bigger head than most people, according to Reggie.
Growing up there was a large back and forth between Scotland and her father's family estate in the north. So much so that when it came time for the twins to pick a school hard headed Reggie refused to step foot into Durmstrang and fought hard to go to her mother's school of Hogwarts. A battle she won, with her twin brother clinging close to her refusing to be seperated from his twin.
The two eventually went to Diagon Alley to recieve their books and ran into an issue where, while having walked away from their parents, the two ran into some older students outside the Quidditch supply store. They began to tease the twins for their uncontrollable, due to the summer humidity, curls, which only led to the blondes getting into a fight with four boys almost twice their size.
Eventually a third boy joined them and Reggie thanked him once the older boys left. This was how the twins first met James Potter and became friends, a friendship that only grew when the twins were put into Gryffindor one right after the other. Reggie is a hard headed and thick skinned young woman. She's a no holds barred type of girl and isn't above using force to get her way.
However she is a good and loyal friend, not afraid to stand up for herself and others. During their second year Reggie and Ralphie tried out for the Gryffindor quidditch team. At first Reggie was told she was too uncontrolled to be on the team. Ralphie was however immediately put on. It took a while, but finally Reggie convinced him to play.
The whole year she worked with him and got better, so much so that the next year she was placed on the team with no problem proudly flying next to her brother. Reggie held a friendship with James throughout school, as well as Remus and Peter. She also became fast friends with Lily Evans even possibly Severus Snape (until that incident). And as he matured, there was a somewhat strained relationship with Sirius Black.
During her 5th year Reggie tried for her third time in the last two years, under the guidence of Professor Mcgonagall, to become an animagus, as previous members of her family had done. Afterwards she also helped Ralphie to do the same.
However after nearly recieveing low marks on her potion and Defense Against the Dark Arts O.W.L.S Reggie almost found herself at Durmstrang due to her grandmother insisting that the girl should transfer in order to redeem herself and her grades, after some finagling and some crafty words Reggie was able to stay at Howarts with the promise of doing better on her N.E.W.T.S.
Originally Reggie had planned to advance in Transfiguration and hopefully take over for Mcgonagall when she either moved up or retired. However her plans changed when the rise of dark forces began. Instead she began to study more on her defensive spells and prepare for the upcoming war that she and her classmates knew was coming. After graduating Reggie joined the Order of The Phoenix becoming seperated from her brother Ralphie and his sweetheart Mallory Jacobson as they left for Norway.
She put her gifts in Transfiguration and spell reversal to use at St. Mungos. When Harry was born Reggie was exstatic to learn that she, and her short term boyfriend Sirius had been chosen as baby Harry’s godparents, though the happiness was short lived when the realziation that the position might be something that came into effect so much sooner than any of them wanted.
On the night of October 31st 1981 Reggie was working a late night helping the patients at St. Mungos. That’s when she heard about it from a worker coming in. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was gone, the baby named Harry Potter had defeated him. Reggie was gone before anyone could say anything to stop her.
Upon returning to her and Sirius’s flat she had no idea what was happening. Nothing other than Harry was gone, and that James and Lily were dead. She was grabbed by aurors and placed into custody until it was proven she knew nothing of what happened and never had been privy to knowlege about the secret keepers.
After having her entire life turned upside down and finding herself angry at just about everyone she knew in her life Reggie had to obtain a new wand finding that after all that had happened her companion of 10 years no longer worked for her.
No longer able to see her precious godson, and feeling betrayed by her lover Sirius as well as Albus Dumbledore, Reggie left the United Kingdom and returned to the Holdestone estate to help her brother and sister-in-law raise her neice and her own daughter, born the following June of 1982.
Family: Raphael (Twin Brother), Sirius Black (Lover), Rolf Holdestone (Father), Sorcha Rider (Mother), Einar Holdestone (Uncle), Astrid Cordelia Holdestone (Daughter by Sirius Black).

Character Profile: Eileen Ramsey (Nèe Prewett)
About:
Name: Eileen Lucretia Ramsey (Nèe Prewett)
Born: July 11th, 1960
Wand:
Laurel Wood, Unicorn Hair, 10”, Supple flexibility
Animagus:
Fennec Fox
Patronus:
Fennec Fox, Thestral (following Regulus’ death)
Biography:
Eileen is the younger sister of Molly Weasley (Nee Prewett), Gideon, and Fabian. She was always quite bright and a deeply caring individual. She was the youngest of the Prewett family, and so at times it seemed like she was the most favorited by her brothers, and her parents. That was… until she was sorted into Slytherin.
The Prewett family was deeply superstitious when it came to the house of the snake, especially when one of their own was sorted into it. Believing this was destined to make her a dark witch. Something, most people wouldn’t be able to believe if they had talked for more than two minutes to talk with her.
This didn’t matter, especially to the parents. Eileen became a stranger in her own home to everyone except her twin brothers. They remained somewhat distant but still showed protective qualities to her throughout the years.
During her time at Hogwarts Eileen was bullied by her fellow housemates (and the Marauders), including one Malcolm Ramsey. Ramsey bullied Eileen until halfway through her second year when she hexed him with the langlock hex followed quickly by the babbling curse in their dueling club (hello bitten tongue). He no longer bullied, nor really interacted with her much after that until her sixth, and his seventh year.
In her sixth year, Eileen gained some respect in her house after taking down Rabastan Lestrange in a duel, followed a month or so later by one of the Mulciber family. This was brought on by them bullying her and Eileen having enough. Of course, this was also the year in which she befriended Regulus Black. Someone that encouraged her to fight back. Later accompanied, by Ramsey.
Unknown to her, her brother Fabian had one Miss Maureen Fawley follow around Eileen and keep tabs on her to ensure no odd romance blossomed with Regulus Black. Unforeseen was her budding romance between Eileen and Ramsey, who seemed to slip by under their radar. Easy for Ramsey to do considering he was a prefect until he lost his badge in the fall of 1976. They began dating on November 9
th
of 1976.
Malcolm ‘Mal’ Ramsey:

She finished schooling at Hogwarts in 1978. Eileen married Malcolm in 1979 on October 31st. Sometime between her graduation and her nuptials she was forced into becoming a death eater at the sake of her loved ones. She did feed information to her brothers as best as she could when it reached her. Such as Regulus confiding in her that Voldemort was using horcruxes and he had found one. Surrounded by water, and Regulus couldn’t swim. She tried to tell her brothers and the Order to get there before Regulus had to. She knew he couldn’t swim and was terrified to lose him. So, when Regulus set out and with no word from the Order, she accompanied him. She forced him to finish the Emerald Potion (Drink of Despair) and was incredibly proud when he went to change the lockets. She was preparing to leave the cave along with Kreacher when Regulus stooped over to get a drink of the water and was pulled in by the Inferi. Eileen tried to save him but was unsuccessful. Only being saved by Kreacher urging her to leave with him as it would have been what ‘Master Regulus’ would have wanted. She went home that night incredibly shaken, hollow, and broken. She blamed the order for his death. Because he wasn’t considered a ‘good man’ in their eyes she felt like they left him to die. Sirius Black blamed her for his brother’s death. Despite not being over her friend’s death her life went on and continued to the day of her wedding. She was ecstatic on her wedding day even though Regulus was supposed to walk her down the aisle. She held a small portrait of him in the bouquet, so he was still able to walk her down the aisle. Had Regulus still been alive he would have been named the godfather of Eileen’s children. For a time between the first and second wizarding wars Malcolm and Eileen were happy and content with their lives. The couple welcomed their daughter, Ophelia Maureen Acturus Ramsey, was born on May 2nd, 1982. Originally a surprise to both her parents but nothing short of a blessing to them both. Later they adopted the bastard son of Rabastan Lestrange, Lucifer, in 1991. Lucifer having been abandoned due to his half-blood status. Eileen worked as a writer after the first war through to the second war as Malcolm worked for the ministry as a curse breaker. Her books were works of fiction for children inspired by the ‘Rambunctious’ adventures of her husband. Often causing her husband to be mobbed by children when they were out in Diagon Alley. Sadly, the Ramsey children were left orphaned as both Eileen and Malcolm perished during the second war. Some of Eileen’s last words were a question, asking if Regulus would be proud of her. When her eyes closed for the last time they closed in Hogwarts, and when she opened them, she was greeted with Regulus looking down on her: “About time, Prewett.”
Her best subjects in school include:
-Charms -Potions - Ancient Runes -Arithmancy - Defense Against The Dark Arts
Talents: -Wandless Magic (at times) -Nonverbal Spells -Flying
Guilty Pleasures:
-Malcolm Ramsey -Sugar Quills - Brain teasers - Long thoughtful conversations - Terrible Comedies -Romance Novels (shoved under her bed) -Chocolate (hidden next to the novels, with a box of tissues) -Long hot bubble baths (Taken in the prefects bathroom when in school) -Quidditch (namely the Holyhead Harpies) -Being a show off and doing tricks at Quidditch games.

Daddy’s Little Girl
She is the same age as the Marauders, and so this does take place in her early school days. Between her first and second year. -- SaucySlytherin.
"So," Eileen paused sucking in a shaky breath swiping her fiery locks out of her face, "So you l-l-lied to me about the holidays." She sniffled lip trembling dangerously.
Roderick stood there with his stern face in a scowl. "Why are you sniveling, Eileen Lucretia Prewett?" His voice was not kind or soothing as a father's should be. "I will not tolerate you incessant sniveling in my house."
Eileen glanced towards the window and sucked in again willing her tears to stop but they wouldn't as they continued to roll down her young face. She wished she could just suck all the tears back in like a sponge, but her face and ears were hot and the heat just kept building behind her eyes the more she blinked.
"I j-just want to know why, Did I do something wrong, s-sir?"
The red headed male stood over his daughter. On her shoulders was a scarlet and gold scarf that a blonde girl had thrown onto Eileen when she complained about being cold on the train ride home.
"Put your things in your room, and take off those damn green robes you're wearing, and then perhaps you and I will talk." That was the end of the conversation for now as the man walked into the kitchen fixing himself a drink.
Eileen stood there frozen for a moment before nodding her head and doing just that. As soon as she was in her room the sobs she was holding back leaked out. Her entire form was shaking violently as she ripped her robes off her small frame, She then tugged on a t-shirt and jeans.
She sat curled up on her bed for a good bit as she tried to wipe her eyes and clean herself up. Her father didn't like when she cried so she would do her best not to when she saw him again. She had just turned 12 only two days prior to this day, the day when they received their annual Hogwarts letter.
Her father had been fighting off the twins who were begging to hurry and let them go to Diagon Alley, but their father was firm. "It'll wait until next week when your mother and sister return from your aunt's." He gave a point look to Eileen. "Your mother can deal with you." He shooed the boys away.
Eileen remained standing there and he let out a sigh turning.
"Are you still standing there?"
"Yes sir, I just wanted to ask you why it is that I was not allowed back at home for the Holidays. You lied to me da."
"You want to know why I didn't want you coming back during the holiday?" He asked his eyes boring into her's. "Because I didn't want a snake ruining the family holiday, I didn't want you ruining the family holiday."
"So, I'm suddenly not part of the family anymore because of what Hogwarts house I was sorted into?" She asked feeling her heart squeezing painfully and the familiar heat building behind her eyes again.
"That's exactly what I am saying." He said slightly raising his voice. "I'm not doing a thing more for you than I am obligated to do for you by the ministry, no matter what your mother says."
"Da...I u-u-used to be your little girl. I'm still her. I'm still who ya raised me to b-be." Eileen mumbled tears welling now causing her vision to go blurry.
"There's not a witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin." He told her looking the girl in the eyes. "You'll turn bad just like the rest of them."
"No I won't. I won't da! I promise! I'm a good girl!" Her voice is wavering as the tears leak hot and fresh down her cheeks. "I brush my hair every day, my teeth three times a day, I bathe every night, I complete my homework assignments on time and I don't-I don't hex anyone who's been m-mean to me." Her breathing was becoming uneven.
"You're also talking with bad influences and sleeping in the same rooms as snakes who will one day fight to ruin the life we all hold dear." He pointed a finger at her. "You'll be no better than them no matter what you do or say."
She gasped. "Don't you dare talk ill of students- of children you don't know personally! You don't know what they are living with at home! Isn't that what you used to tell me, da? Be nice because everyone is fighting a silent war. Or did my own father reveal that he's as dumb as any old mountain troll?"
The smack sounded through the room. A smack so loud that the sound of footsteps running could be heard on the stairs.
"Is everything okay, Da?" Fabian asked looking from his father to his younger sister holding her red cheek.
"Go back upstairs."
"But Da...?" Gideon started.
"I said go, the both of you." The man roared and with one last look to their sister the boys tore back up the stairs.
Eileen was still standing there holding her stinging cheek. The smack so hard it had forced her head to the side, "As soon as I am able, I'm shedding your last name." She said eerily calm despite the fresh onslaught of tears from her shattered heart and her physical pain.
"You can shed my name, but you will never shed your true skin, Eileen." Now he was calm. "Go up to your room. Now, don't come back until dinner. Your brothers will bring you down."
Eileen turned and started up the stairs almost as if she was a marionette and his words were pulling her string. She stopped and turned. "I'm sorry you think so lowly of me. I may never shed my snake skin, but you will never be more than a man without a spine. It's a wonderful trick." With that she is running up the stairs to her room.

Chinese Dragon Sanctuary
So, this is a bit of a random 3:30 am thought, but my friend recently made a Charlie account on Twitter and another made a Dragonologist as well. It got me looking up random things to help the original character writer a bit and for my own curiosity. And I found out there was a chinese dragon sanctuary founded in the 2010's.
A bit of background on Lian, who is/will be mentioned in quite a few of the stories I write, is that she is second generation Chinese. She also has an older brother since Lian was technically based of my Hogwarts Mystery character. Some infornation has definitely changed around, but another post for another time.
Anyway, what needs to be known, Lian's mother is Liling Xiaolong, Liling was the daughter of a Chinese Ministry of Magic ambassador who moved to England to improve ties with the British Ministry of Magic. Back in China though, the Xiaolong's were one of the few families who would raise Chinese Fireballs, for ceremony, as well as for their horn shavings in ancient times. They knew how to calm the dragons and had special partnerships with them. So much so that there has been a wand passed through each witch and another passed through each wizard in the line.
This also means that Lian was raised on these stories, and it also means that, while also aquiring the heirloom wand during her time in school, she also aquired a great love of the dragons that her family used to raise.
Another thing needed to be known is that Lian's older brother Shifan Xiaolong, did exactly as his grandfather did all those years ago, but opposite, moving to China to become an ambassador.
So, in my little rp/story writing universe, Charlie probably daid something about wishing that there was a dragon sanctuary in China for when theu visit her family, Lian mentions it to her brother who after some convincing gets the Chinese M.O.M. to open it on Xiaolong property.
TL;DR:
Lian's genetics give her a long for Chinese Fireballs that barely falls beneath her love for a certain Dragon Loving Weasley. Her brother would also like if she were able to visit more often.

Don't Let Go
They were broken and battered, but they had won.
'At what cost?' Lian asked herself.
Those who had been on brooms were sitting, some holding eachother. Her cousin among them. She held tight to her boyfriend sobbing into his neck. Adrinette had lost friends in the fight, classmates who had been so close and so dear to her.
Eyes moving forward she saw the sea of red hair, it was hard to miss. Each of them with tears in their eyes. She had met the son they cried over when they had all be younger. When they cried about scraped knees and laughed about things children laughed about.
As she passed she saw the professor who had only joined the school that year. A woman who held onto a man on the ground. He hadn't been a love in her life, but he had been a dear friend. One of the only ones left from their time.
"You can't leave me alone. It's not right you bastard." She sobbed into his chest as Lian approached. The younger woman hadn't know either the teacher, or Lupin well. In truth she had only met the man more than a handful of times. He had been so kind, a sad soul who didn't believe he deserved the good he had received in his life. The woman beside him however she knew, had known her since their forth year of school together.
Lian knew her so well, her hair had not been it's usual bright pink. Instead it was brown and as lifeless as the woman on the ground.
Tonks.
The former Ravenclaw kneeled beside the woman, smoothing back too long bangs from her face. She was so pale, unlike how Lian had ever seen her.
Her eyes stung and the woman was not sure how she still had tears left to shed, even as they stream from her eyes.
Tonks was not meant to be here, but of course she had been. Never one to let others face anything alone, that insanely selfless woman. The blonde teacher looked up at Lian and with red rimmed golden eyes reached out her hand before pulling the asian woman into a tight hug.
These two women who barely knew one another's name sat and held each other crying into one another's shoulder. They may not know each other well, but they knew enough, that they had both lost friends dear to them that night. And their friends had loved one another dearly.
The small comfort lasted until the school's mediwitch asked for help. The healers had their hands full. The two woman rushed to their aid, putting aside their own greif in the hopes of helping so that no others had to feel their pain.
They lost many. Some too broken to be fixed. Lian cried again into the woman's shoulder. The latest one had been a young witch, barely of age, mauled beyond what could be fixed.
It lasted for what felt like days, until she felt so exhausted she couldn't go another second. And then she rested for a few minutes and returned to the work needing the distraction.
There was no celebrations in the region. No sung praises of the boy, now a man, who had saved them. Instead there was peace and mourning. So many had been lost, so many children. Those who's futures had been cut so very short.
Funerals were attended, and Lian had not slept in days. She couldn't, not with nightmares plagued with the sight of friends falling and a screaming baby who wanted nothing but his parents. Instead he got his Godmother, and his equally if not more broken Godfather.
It turned into a blur. She stayed with Andromeda for a while, and then she left, taking the young child with her. Once he realized his mother was not coming he would only cling to her, searching for peace. The only way he slept was if he was cuddled in her arms. More tears were shed. This was not the way it was supposed to be.
Harry and her were supposed to dote on him. And spoil him so much that his parents worried he may become rotten. The baby was not supposed to cling to her like this. In fear of a clear unknown that a child so young should not feel.
Finally Harry took him. Promising to keep him safe. "You can't keep it up like this. I'll watch him for the night, you need rest, Zhang."
And it had been the most unrestful sleep she ever had. Nightmares filled her mind. She saw loved ones falling around her. Saw clumsy, yet impossibly joyful Tonks fall.
And every time she awoke she ran to the pram that Teddy never slept in. He only slept beside her or in her arms. And every time she had to remind herself that Teddy was fine, with his Godfather.
It lasted until halfway through the night when she made her way to Grimmuald. Harry was standing there trying to soothe a shrieking child.
Immedietly she took him and held the blue haired boy to her chest. He held her with chubby fists and whined. Lian cried as well, for so many reasons, but for the main reason that she knew she could never leave this child. Nothing mattered as much as he did now.
"It's alright Teddy, my little love, I won't let you go." She promised as she kissed his head. An apologetic look thrown to Harry as she cried. And her promise was true. In fact she could not let go. Not of Teddy, and not of the only true thing she had left of her best friend. Never would she let go of the one thing Tonks had truly given her.
"Never, I promise." She whispered as the baby in her arms quieted into a still slumber. Her heart broke into so many pieces, things would truly never be the same for any of them.
((I wrote this at 7 am, needing to get out some hard and sad feeling. If you read this, I hope you enjoy this. Lian is one of my original characters bases off my character fron Harry Potter: Hogwarts Myster.))
