Amazing point of view! Totally correct.
remember folks: the problem with rural conservatives isn’t that they’re backwards & poor, it’s that the only people coming to them and addressing their concerns are fascists.
let me say that again.

let’s say that one last time.

10 Non-Cosmetic Methods to Become Beautiful
Practice humanitarian work by donating your time to prepare meals for the less fortunate and hands to send notes to assisted living homes.
Smile at children. Smiles, no matter how they look, are unforgettable.
Tend to a garden. Giving back to the Earth always benefits us by receiving fruit back, fresher air and a beautiful bloom for a pick-me-up.
Gossip about people in a positive way. Give praise unexpectedly instead of private information whenever you talk about someone behind their back to put a spin on the conversation.
For every insult you receive, give yourself 2 compliments back.
Leave a nice first impression. Smile, smell good and be warm when in conversation.
Take pictures of nature, yourself and what you enjoy. We gain enjoyment from looking back at what has happened because no outside forces can change an event that’s frozen in time.
Give appreciation for tasks others do for you, whether it’s their job or not. Adding “so much” after thank you, maintaining eye contact and being gentle receiving something can leave lasting impressions on others.
Allow others to save face. If someone is having a bad day and people are piling on them, allow them to save face by giving them a chance to get through their day without reproach from you, because what others don’t do is more noticeable than you think.
Allow yourself to be helped and don’t be afraid to help. We sometimes feel bad asking for help for the fear of seeming weak or stupid when the person waiting for you to ask is glad that you finally did. Lastly, the worst word someone can say to you if you think they need help is “no”.
Be Luxury, Live Luxury. 💎

be the main character of your life, stop comparing yourself to others!
every time you compare yourself to another person you lose your power and give it to others.
be aware of your own value
the value you give to others, give to yourself multiplied!
if there is something you don't like about yourself try to change it from compassion and self-love, don't judge yourself for it, we all have the ability to change
recognize that comparing yourself with other people is something negative and prevents you from growing and evolving
you are the main character of your life, no one else, that's why it doesn't matter if you "believe" that someone else is more handsome or smarter than you, it's not, it's you, because it's your life, think about this every time you compare yourself
recognize when these thoughts come to your mind and focus in turn on something positive, something good about your day or something you like about yourself
don't compare chapter 20 of a person with chapter 3 of your life
focus on learning and not comparing yourself
turn comparison into admiration
be aware of the damage you are doing to yourself when you do this
write down everything you like about yourself and everything you would like to have or be
practice self-love every day, treat yourself with love
focus on you and your growth not on what others do
focus on what you like about yourself and not on what you don't-
recognize that you are the main character of your life, the life you are living right now is only lived by you so it doesn't matter how other people are or how they live their life, it doesn't hurt you, focus on you and your growth, you are unique and valuable you don't have to be like anyone else
some ways to practice self-love ( i will write another post on this)
forgive yourself
take care of your physical and mental health
avoid toxic people
connect to your feminine energy and make rest a priority when you need it
use positive affirmations every day
talk to yourself and treat yourself with love
do things that make you proud of you
post that i recommend you if you found this one useful 🤍

Single Covers for my Music I’ve Been working on lately.
Most of the songs were written over the course of a few months in a flash of rage, sadness, envy, and longing for a time when I could sing these at bars.
Now that that time has come and I feel like I am able to share my music with the world it’s scary for sure, but I am ready and open.
Ironically, due to COVID my voice survived a grave impact I am not sure will recover soon, the cough was intense that I think it may have damaged my vocal cords.
I am sure I can revive it, it must just be trapped in a seashell somewhere.

I love when shop owners have like a vendetta against a certain product,
I can imagine a scenario where he was wronged by an Accordion in some way
Went to my local music store looking for a used accordion, have mixed feelings about the guy there’s reaction.
…On one hand he was helpful, but on the other hand he was essentially: ‘fuck accordions, we don’t like them, and we try not to have them’ …like, okay. I get they aren’t too popular but they aren’t that bad.

Here is one of the best shopping locations in downtown Calgary!
I enjoy shopping local, it is always a nice experience leaving the apartment, walking down the street and seeing what 17th ave has to offer, and it is a lot. Most of the goods in local stores are sourced from retailers across Canada and even the world, it is valuable to seek out these spaces and support them when we can. Large stores dont rely so much on the public so much as they value their locations profitability, and will just move locations if the store doesn't do well. Small businesses, dont have that option. The value of shopping local is cherishing the small moments within your community that also help stimulate a healthy local economy. Here is one of the best shopping locations in downtown Calgary! HG Vintage https://www.instagram.com/hgvintage/ This uniquely located store on the second floor of a converted flat on 17 Ave, HG has the grand entrance nailed down to a science. As you enter the stairwell you're greeted with a beautiful mural painted by local street artists. Once you make your way through to the next floor the open concept store design offers a lot of space for the guests. The nostalgic vibes of entering this industrially decorated yet comfortable space is reminiscent of that really cool basement your friend had in college. HG Vintage is a place where you can find authentic curated pieces that evoke an irreplaceable feeling of nostalgia with the highest quality vintage.

Shopping the 70s look on ardene.com!
Growing up I had a lot of strong feminine role models, not just in life skills but fashion icons as well. I always admired my aunties, the elegance of their style, the way they carried themselves.
For them, it was the 1970s for the rest of their lives.
With that being said, without their expertise, I never would have become the Flower powered femme fetal I am today, nor would my wardrobe be as exciting.
Thrifting is one of my favourite hobbies, it connects me to the world before ours, things that have been loved and then lost. With all the fun and anxiety relief that thrifting provides, not much beats a trip to the mall. Maybe it's because I grew up in a small town, and we didn't have malls to hang out in.
I love Ardene's, it is a girlhood staple and for a lot of us, never left our closets. I always find what I am looking for, what fits the vibe for the season, what fits me and what I can afford.
Let's take a walk into the virtual shop and see what we can find!
Right away I see these Wide Leg Joggers, and these A.C.W. Wide-leg Tailored Pants
Very tech professional mixed with a philosophy professor and I love it.
