Hello- I was wondering what brushes you typically use for your lineart, as well as what your go to for shading is. Well- if they’re compatible with procreate that is. Cuz your your shadow quality in particular is very cool, I mean your art in general is just gorgeous, but yeah. Anyway. Scribbly randoms. I go now-

First and foremost, ohmygodthankyousomuch!!! Secondly, I switch around what brushes I use periodically, but most recently I've been using the same brush for pretty much everything~ Its a custom brush I threw together in Procreate in order to learn more about creating brushes.

Its been a pretty solid do everything brush, since the fine point works well for how I do clean sketches/line work, and the tilt on the apple pencil with it works for blocking out shadows and whatnot, and also works really well for blending.

As for how I handle shadows, I went to school for 3D art so the way I handle lighting in my 2D art now is largely influenced on how 3D engines handle lighting (Physics Based Rendering/PBR), as well as post processing. What this means in practice is I use a LOT of just masked out flat colours with layer effects ^-^'
