The Starwars artwork theme continues. This was a Christmas present and I'm sharing late, as it was not printed in time and now, that has been rectified. Had fun doing this one and there is still room for improvements. Day: 043 Hellboy sketch. A new trailer comes out and I sketch Hellboy. Other than some vector work for a client, I've never drawn Hellboy before, I liked the result, even with wonky bits. Day: 037 An aristocrat, showing off with their very large halo, with rays of light. This one I enjoyed painting, wanted to keep the lines clean. That floating thing on the shoulder is a shoulder epaulette. I was going to work on it and ran out of time to finish it. Last minute experiment with the rays of light, it's ok. :) For saving time, I used part of a circuit board stock image, otherwise it would have taken longer to do from scratch... you know I think I'm going to stop using stock images for speed painting. Second image is a close up and the third is even closer. Did that because compressed images don't look great when uploaded here. . . . Day:036 A monster, a monster hunter and a biker. Something kicking around in my subconscious from images I saw a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed doing this. I like the idea of a gang of bikers evolved descended from the Witchfinder General/ inquisition and Van Helsing, but, set in present day hunting real horrible monsters. Confession, the tattoos and shotgun are from manipulated images from a couple of sources, all for time saving. If I ever was to redraw this with more time, I would do that tattoos and shotgun from scratch and get rid of the pony tail. What was I thinking!
