Yes having your favorite character be unpopular in fandom sucks but you know what's worse? Having your least favorite character be the fandom's favorite. I hate this character with every beat of my heart and everyone else thinks their great! They are not! And also y'all aren't even talking about the character anymore you have made up a completely different man.

"Aro/Ace person gets given a love potion" story but instead of them being immune or whatever, it DOES work, and they realize IMMEDIATELY that they've been fed a love potion because this feeling is so wrong and foreign but everyone keeps laughing off the idea of it being a love potion because "they were probably just a late bloomer" or "no, you just finally found the right person!" and it's just a horror story about how no one believes them even though they know, they KNOW this isn't right and they can't stand it.

Just came to this realization: When I was younger and was being taught reading/literacy skills, I was told to try and predict what comes next in the story (yk, like tryna teach me to pick up on foreshadowing, plot, etc). Little me, however, thought that meant that I should try and predict what the next word/sentence would be on the next page/next paragraph.

Anyway the realization is that this was probably a very obvious sign of my autism but at the time I just thought it was really stupid that people thought it would take a lot of time and effort to learn what the next word would probably be in a sentence.

What's weird to me is that it doesn't even seem to matter what the poll is asking, everyone automatically just picks Jay. First to die? Jay is one of the most popular picks. The only one to survive the apocalypse? Jay again. Completely random poll like who prefers mint ice cream or some random bullshit like that? Opps, all Jay.

It doesn't even always align with the fandom perception of him being weak or him being the strongest one, people automatically just, pick him, because he's their favorite.

Idk maybe I'm just being a hater because Jay is my least favorite and I do not understand why people like him but this is definitely something I've observed from Ninjago polls on here.

I think one can make a poll of who would be the first of the ninjas to surrender to a manipulative genius pirate and Jay would still win because the general perception of the fandom is that he is a puppy who doesn't know where he stands.
