How do I describe this feeling?

It's a pain, it's an ache

I am a fishing line, wanting to reel in

Have you ever felt so alone?

It's crushing

Surrounded by people, by person or phone

How is this too much to ask?

Some real love

I have to put myself out there, what a daunting task

It never works the way you want it to

People are so cruel

Only for their pleasure do they want you

The future surely must be bright?

The Underestimated Cat

Why is the cat, with all its glory, surrounded by so much hate?

Alongside the dog, should be mans best mate

They are filled with so much love and joy

All they ask in return is affection, food an a toy

When they scratch and when they bite,

'Tis the owner not treating them right

The only bad thing, about the cat, is their mad hunting skills

Thus, if you just keep watch you can save some little birds life and reduce their kills

They chase anything that moves and sit in all they fit

No one can deny, they are the funniest animal, I admit

To sum it up they are so much fun

They have love in their eyes, some for everyone

He always made me comfortable
