Black billed magpie moodboard! Black billed magpies have been recorded following human hunting parties to eat leftovers of the hunt. Like other jays, magpies may also eat other birds' eggs or hatchlings.

Foxes are omnivores, and eat bugs, small reptiles or birds, as well as eggs and vegetation. The largest fox species is the red fox, and the smallest is the Fennec fox.

Here you go! The paintings are from Arnold Böcklin, Elihu Vedder and Young Marsyas, and William-Adolphe Bouguereau in that order. Hopefully the naked ladies are alright, theyre just chillin. I also decided not to put little drawings on the pictures because they're kind of hard to see as it is. Portrayal of saytrs has changed a lot over the centuries, they were originally portrayed as ugly, mischievous, and obscene. They began to have a more neutral portrayal around the late 1500's, often depicted in sensual (etc...) situations, and became more positive over time, especially with the release of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Historically no female saytrs have been depicted, and Greeks were unsure of how or if they reproduced.

Hihi! Could I get a Canada lynx or Oriental shorthair stimboard? :3 Tysm! Love your work

I did the lynx since Ive done quite a few other domestic cats :) Also Im really sorry I cant get stimboards to work! Its probably opperator error but my computer just hates gifs :( Canada Lynx have longer back legs than front legs, causing them to have a forward sloping posture. Just a little over half of the lynxes body weight is comprised of skeletal muscle!

Hey! I know it can be super hard to figure stuff out, even people who have known they're therian for a long time still struggle.

Personally, I like to research what I think I am and especially look at pictures, that helps me a lot. I think about like how I would feel if I was that animal/ had physical trains/ had more behavioral traits of that animal. Talking to others can also help, that way you can compare experiences. This is especially helpful if they have the same type, or similar types.

It also helps to just sit with it a while! I thought I was a cat for uhh 8 months and then just randomly got a big wave of W O L F and it just felt so much more right and comfortable than any of my other types. So much so that I'm kind of reevaluating all of them (oops). So as Im sure you've seen others say, there's no 100% way to tell which sucks. Basically a lot of self reflection and thinking, and just go with what makes you comfortable even if you don't get it right the first time! No one should judge you for not being right the first time :) Good luck finding your type! this ones pretty boring/ average tbh but im still happy to share :) Question: when did you awaken as therian and how? So my friend @meowing-creature had kind of mentioned it in passing throughout highschool but not with like direct language. Later in our friends discord server, and my friends partner (@canis-latranz , I didnt really know him at the time) started talking about it and I got curious and asked meowing-creature about it.

I was super interested in it and I started researching on my own and talking with them about it more. I was really sad at first like 'wow I wish I could be that' like in a longing way. But the more I thought about it and remembered how I felt in the past, and how I acted like before I had to Adult. Eventually I was like "Well, I dont think I would be this interested in it unless I was, plus I have a lot of experiences that are similar to others who are". Basically I realized over time that I had those feelings and experiences and tried out the label, and it fit :) TLDR: I found out from a friend and stuff from my past/ my feelings/ my experiences lined up and it felt right.

Uhh favourite art piecesss? I dont really have specific works that are my favourite, but some artists/art styles I like include Tatsuki Fujimotos style (chainsaw man), ghibli stuff (ofc), just older anime/manga style in general, that style where they draw wolves with big round teeth and thing heads, Y2K art style (also sometimes called Swag art, at least thats what pinterest calls it), Bee and Puppycat art, etc.

Favourite places I've been are mostly western US in the rockies. Same for Canadian rockies. I really loved going to Yellowstone also. My favourite genre of place is big, wide, flowery fields with mountains/cool geological features in the distance. One of my favourite movies is the Secret Life of Walter Mitty just because of the scenery tbh. Here's some pictures from those trips^

The big mountain is around Calgary in canada, the other ones are all from the badlands in south dakota Lastly, things I thought were my theriotype include: siamese cat (first theriotype that I misidentified), I considered deer for a while since I've always felt really connected to them but for now I just consider them a hearttype, I also think about rays on occasion but I think thats because theyre so close to sharks Thanks for your questions :))) I really like answering questions so this was fun

It was kind of hard to decide where to put the dot at because part of me is actually completely wild (wolf) and part of me is domestic (dog) but I feel like I lived in the woods, away from people which would be feral.

The grey squiggles are to represent the different colours scottish deerhounds come in, as well as their wiry textured coats! The tartan/ green, blue, red, white , and black stripes is/represent the national tartan of Scotland, where the scottish deerhound originated!

Is there a therian flag for a tortoiseshell cat or tortoiseshell coloured mainecoon or just a mainecoon flag?

Here is a tortoiseshell/calico cat flag! The colors are of course for the coat colors of these cats. The 3 lines in the middle are for both the 1 male for every 3000 female calicos/torties, as well as the XXY genetic pattern of male torties (males with this coloration are always intersex).

Maine coon flag! The wiggly stripes on the side are representative of the range of colors maine coons can be. It also represents the smokey, wispy fur on their ears and cheeks. The two trees on the side represent the size of maine coons in comparison to other cats. They are also a feature of Maine's state flag, where the Maine coon originated. The star in the middle of the Theta Delta is another feature of the Maine state flag.
