Anyways if you’re curious on my thoughts here they are:

Characters:

Hiccup: amazing, true to original

Astrid: unpopular opinion but she’s actually really good. She may not look like her but she sure as heck acts like her

Fishlegs: casting the guy from Godzilla is perfect cuz he’s literally just him with dark hair

Snotlout: could do with a slightly more smug voice but overall he’s pretty good

Tuffnut: I can’t believe they actually got Tuffnut himself to star in the film

Ruffnut: SHES NOT A STUPID SILLY STINKY SMELLY DORKY IDIOT TOMBOY GRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

Stoick: THEY GOT THE OG VA BACK FOR THE LIVE ACTION AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Gobber: really like him a lot, also stayed true to original

Story:

I don’t have much to say, it’s true to the original. There are some slight changes like removed/replaced scenes but it’s not like they went steering off to another direction. The storyline is overall the same, the message is also the same, and it’s more than just nostalgiabait because it really feels like a remake instead of a tryhard remaster because you can’t really top off the perfection of the original
