Hey! Idk if anyone has asked you yet or if you already said it, but did you know hyper shadow inverted colors looks like regular shadow? And same vise versa! Thought it was super cool :D

YEAH i know at first the au looks like “lol white shadow who is happy” but im happy people actually take the time to dig a bit more into it

specially in the fanfics !! and the art people do of it, nothing makes me more happy than seeing people rambling abt my silly AU

Art for the gorgeous hyperdark au by the gorgeous @shoophise ( @shoohyperdark), hope you notice this little piece of my work and like it! I added a few design touches from game Hyper Sonic (to make it even more jaw-dropping) + some of my own twists

Now... I SWEAR TO GOD THOSE AREN’T JUST RANDOM LETTERS (there are actual words and phrases there, reflecting Shadow’s mental landscape, but let’s be real, has anyone ever fully understood someone else’s brain? So yeah, it’s a bit vague and weird). The whole point was to add deeper meaning to the art, not just "omg Hyper Shads’s beautiful like a god wow"

+ At first, I wasn’t sold on this au (no idea why, maybe I was just shocked to see Shadow as his polar opposite?), but after digging deep into its lore, everything clicked, and I was like "wait no, this actually makes SO MUCH sense". And now, guess I’m part of the hyperdark cult, haha)

And here’s my little headcanon (sorry if it’s weird as hell lmao, but hear me out): basically, the more Hyper Shadow used his new powers, the more fragmented his memories became – erasing faster and faster (he could’ve forgotten everything. Even Sonic. Oh god… THAT’S A WHOLE GLASS-SHARD-HEAP OF ANGST). I mean, he already lost some memories (the bad ones) when he transformed… so what if, over time, wielding this power would’ve made him lost all his memories (but then, of course, they will come back once he returns to his normal self)? Mwahahah… Anyway, just a tiny hc!

I’ve seen you using different art softwares so i’m curious about how many art programs do you know how to use?

And which one would u recommend the most! I’m curious because I want to start drawing digitally but most programs are a bit intimidating(?)

Uhhh prepare for a really long list bc I’ve been drawing digitally since I was 11 years old 😭

Paint Tool Sai (and v2), Medibang Paint, Photoshop, Krita, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, IbisPaint X, Sketchbook and probably more but I don’t remember 😭

my free recommendations if you use a pc/laptop to draw: Paint Tool Sai and Medibang Paint.

If you have the resources buy Clip Studio Paint but if u are new to digital art it may be a bit overwhelming bc it has wayyyy too many features u may not understand

SAI and Medibang are more simpler softwares if you are new, after u learn the basics u can move to CSP if you want

For tablet/Ipad I’d recommend Proceate (bc it’s simpler) and then move to CSP if u have the money to pay for it annually/monthly

But if u don’t have the money to purchase any of those in tablet, use IbisPaint X !
