Keima Katsuragi seems to know everything when it comes to winning the hearts of the ladies. Well- I mean fictional ladies. He’s known online as “the god of conquest,” but can he put his money where his mouth is when a demon from hell chooses him for the important mission to capture the hearts of real girls?

5.) Kiss Him Not Me:

Tv rating: PG-13 warning for mature themes and that the main character is a fujoshi.

Kae Serinuma had never been super popular with the boys, and that’s fine by her. She’d much rather watch than be involved, who says that a prince has to be with a princess? What if the princess just wants to watch the princes dance the night away? But what happens when suddenly all the guys take interest in her?

4.) Princess Jellyfish:

Tv rating: PG-13 warning for offensive language and mature themes

Tsukimi Kurashita has always been obsessed with jellyfish and used to wish to be a princess. Soon those dreams of being princess turned into dreams of being an illustrator. Now at age 19 she lives with 5 other otaku women and feels like an outcast. One day she meets someone as close to a real-life princess as you can get in modern-day Tokyo that shows her that no matter who you are- you can too be a princess. 

3.) Yuri on Ice:

Tv rating: PG-13 warning for partial nudity and mature themes

personal rating: 8.9/10

Yuuri Katsuki is a promising Japanese figure skater still feeling the overwhelming weight of his latest defeat. One day a video of him performing his idol’s, Victor’s, skating routine goes viral and suddenly victor appears right on his doorstep! This show is honestly so beautiful and though it may be more focused on sports, the romance that blooms is so sweet and wonderful it will make you cry I swear. Pair that with just a fantastic comedy and you got yourself a great rom-com.

2.)  Tsurezure Children

Tv rating: PG-13 warning for mature themes personal rating: 10/10

This show is all about showcasing young love in all its shapes and forms. It’s funny and light-hearted with some sweet moments mixed in. There are so many fun personalities and super cute scenes! I never get tired of watching this!

Takeo Gouda has always had trouble with girls due to his appearance, he’s a burly bear of a man at only 15. His best friend is cool and never has any problem with attracting the ladies. What will happen when a sweet short girl named Rinko enters the equation? This is honestly one of the most wholesome and cute animes that I’ve seen in a while. It showcases that slow and innocent kind of love that’s bound to make your heart swell.
