I've honestly been having a great time!

It's still kinda...surreal? I guess actually being active on social media. But it's been such a pleasant experience so far. Just being able to talk into the void about things I like and the void actually responds in the form of nice people!

it's half frugality and half thinking ai2 isn't worth it's full price. but really at the end of the day, you're the one who decides if something's worth the money you paid for it or not. however if you end up not liking the game it'll feel better that you paid less for it and if you do like it, it feels like a steal! either way you'll save money by waiting

also yeah look into zero escape, it also goes in big sales and the first two at least are solid games

Question for people experienced in miniature painting

Say I was putting together a majority white (like 2 thirds white) paint scheme for some space marines, what would be best for basing that? I originally wanted to do some sort of snowy forest base but I worry pairing white armour and snow won't be the best visually.

Till I started actively posting stuff to Tumblr I'd never actually like done any social media before. I never posted any pictures or text posts. Facebook existed mainly so other people can tag me in things.

But this is actually really nice? Like? Being able to reach out and talk to different areas of communities I'm in. Talk to people who have interest in the things I'm interested in and then they talk back! It's just really nice to experience. 💜

please do NOT buy ai2 at full price lmao. really i would highly recommend waiting until it goes on sale, they do crazy price drops on it sometimes

Yeah I have looked into It and the price drops look crazy. Full price of like 30 quid down to like 7 during the right sale.

Is this more about ai2 not being worth the full price? Or just frugality?

Decision turmoil ™️

After playing AI the somnium files and becoming obsessed I have 2 options before me.

1. Buy AI 2 at full price now, play it to get prepared for AI 3

2. Wait to see if AI 2 goes on sale and then buy and play it to prepare for AI 3, which may or may not already be out by the time the sale rolls around.

Was it worth it? Also yes

Am I now debating buying the sequel? Once again yes.

Am I now obsessed with ai the somnium files.

Finally assembled my cosmic exploration uniform for crafters!

I am like 99% sure I got it 1 to 1 with the NPCs up there. I'd go and compare but that's, so , so far away.

(for clarity's sake this is the full everseekers set, dyed pure white and turquoise blue. With the same dye applied to the cosmosuit helmet)

Thoughts have, soured a little bit when it comes to cosmic exploration.

Since the hype around it has died and people have burnt out, it seems that progress has more or less reached it's maximum, about 1 blip on the bar or so each day, with or without player intervention.

And while I do understand why this is implemented this way. It does feel a little... unsatisfying to craft into the void knowing my contributions won't affect the outcome anymore.

As occult Cresent looms on the horizon again.

I will soon once again get to indulge in one of my favourite things. Utterly baffling normal ffxiv players with how I play this game.

It has happened in eureka, and bozja,

They utterly cannot comprehend that I am here for plot and plot alone, and that I will be leaving once I run out of plot

The bozja players continue to try and recruit me to run savages

And the eureka players try to tempt me with mounts

As I spend the next 7 mins flying back to a tavern to log off

I like to think there's a Haurchefant shard somewhere out there in Solution-9 who saw you on screen for the first time and bought every single thing with the WoL's face on it within the first hour of it's release.
